Huber and his family were amazing hosts who truly made me feel at home. They went out of their way to include me in activities and share their culture. Huber gave me insightful tours of the community, his mom cooked delicious traditional meals from scratch, and his dad greeted me with a smile and open arms and was always super friendly with lots of great stories to tell. This was truly one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had—thank you for welcoming me into your home and sharing your daily life with me! I’ll be back one day 🙏

Me and my friend had a wonderful stay (for 2 nights) at the yanarico family! They arranged the boat from Puno to the island and we were picked up by Romulo at the harbor. Romulo and Sibelia are very welcoming and kind. They made delicious food and showed us the way around the island. The room and bathroom were very nice. I would highly recommend staying here as you will experience their culture. Amantani is very peaceful and beautiful. They explained the route back to Puno, everything went smoothly.

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying on Amantani in Alexander’s parents’ beautiful home! Alexander was an enormous help in the organisation of our arrival; he was consistently friendly, professional and available. Olga and Ignacio were excellent hosts who welcomed us with open arms from the get go. It seemed their hospitality knew no bounds, and it really felt as if they always went above and beyond to make our stay the most enjoyable and memorable. We really enjoyed climbing up to Pachamama and Pachatata with Ignacio! The food that Olga prepared for all of us was exquisite, always using local ingredients. Our room was comfortable and we stayed warm enough despite the cold temperatures on the island at night! We definitely won’t forget this home stay experience and we are bringing lots of wonderful memories back home with us from Amantani.

My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful weekend staying with the Cristobal family. The whole family including their son was so welcoming, from taking us to see beautiful places on the island to cooking us delicious meals and being very patient with our bad Spanish!! Our room was really comfortable with a beautiful view and having meals overlooking the lake every day was a real treat. The stars at night were one of the most amazing things I've seen. Irene makes beautiful knitted goods which you can buy and Sergio and Lider were excellent guides, answering all our questions about the island and teaching us some Quechua. We cannot recommend enough visiting Amantaní and staying with the Cristobal family, it has been a highlight of our trip to Peru.
