Wonderful peaceful stay with Huber and his lovely family. Farming, making bread, learning about the community. We highly recommend also doing the kayaking experience and boat trip to the reed islands with Huber. Very good value for money all round with those two excursions and the lunch and evening meals added to the very reasonable cost of the room. :) highly recommended, thank you so much Huber!

Me and my friend had a wonderful stay (for 2 nights) at the yanarico family! They arranged the boat from Puno to the island and we were picked up by Romulo at the harbor. Romulo and Sibelia are very welcoming and kind. They made delicious food and showed us the way around the island. The room and bathroom were very nice. I would highly recommend staying here as you will experience their culture. Amantani is very peaceful and beautiful. They explained the route back to Puno, everything went smoothly.

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying on Amantani in Alexander’s parents’ beautiful home! Alexander was an enormous help in the organisation of our arrival; he was consistently friendly, professional and available. Olga and Ignacio were excellent hosts who welcomed us with open arms from the get go. It seemed their hospitality knew no bounds, and it really felt as if they always went above and beyond to make our stay the most enjoyable and memorable. We really enjoyed climbing up to Pachamama and Pachatata with Ignacio! The food that Olga prepared for all of us was exquisite, always using local ingredients. Our room was comfortable and we stayed warm enough despite the cold temperatures on the island at night! We definitely won’t forget this home stay experience and we are bringing lots of wonderful memories back home with us from Amantani.

The accommodation is just amazing. With a privileged location, I totally recommend it. In addition to this, Yoel comes to pick you up at the port in a very well-prepared boat, a very attentive host. Let's go. What kind of trip are you looking for? Do you want a tourism with a lot of local culture and cuisine? This is the right place. Do you want luxury? It's not here. The accommodation is simple and meets expectations. Some rooms overlook the lagoon, I think it's worth asking beforehand if the room you'll be staying in will have a view. The shower doesn't get very hot and sometimes there's not much water, but it's worth the experience. The food is excellent and local, they cook for a fixed amount per meal. They also arrange some tours for you and explain everything about the local culture. It's worth it!
