Mariposa - Blue Morpho Family House

This little blue house sits right in the jungle. Slightly from the rest of the lodge cabanas by the veggie garden and only few steps to the swimming pool. It feels very private, peaceful simple and comfortable. From its terrace u can observe surrounding nature while sipping a tea. U can decide to cook for ureself or explore the restaurant menus. The lodge offers a spa, a sauna, plenty of games ond can arrange any tour y may think of and there is a lot of amaz g sites to visit around such as rio on pools, big rock, etc. They truly take care of you as if u were their best friends visiting and we felt right at home at Mariposa. We came with a family of friends from Placencia and as always enjoy the beauty of the place, the kindness of the staff and the delicious meals ! We keep returning here any time we go to Cayo.

House & Pool in Mountain Pine Ridge. Gold Standard

Peace. That’s the feeling I had when I arrived here. In fact, I got emotional when we pulled up because the whole property took my breath away. I have nothing negative to say about this place. Catherine was so kind and such a pleasure to communicate with.

Three forest cabins-9 persons*7 beds & Restaurant

If I could give more than five stars, I would! This was an absolutely incredible place to stay—perfect for our family and my sister’s family (four adults and five kids ages 2 to 6). Each family had our own cozy cabin, and the kids loved running back and forth between the two, relaxing in hammocks, and exploring the area around the fire pit. The property is not only beautiful but also the perfect base camp for exploring everything around San Ignacio. But honestly, what made our stay so special was the hospitality. The owners were incredibly thoughtful—they saw our kids trying to break into an old coconut, and later that day, fresh coconuts were waiting, and cut open for them to enjoy! We ate every breakfast and lunch right at the Airbnb, and the food was absolutely delicious—it made things so much easier than taking young kids to restaurants or trying to cook and clean ourselves. This stay exceeded every expectation. Highly recommend!

Cozy private Cabin w/AC~2beds~car rental available

I stayed at the cabin innear Monkey Falls, and I absolutely loved every moment of it. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect escape, and the experience felt both authentic and homey. One of the biggest highlights was the food—made fresh daily by the ladies in the kitchen. Every meal was delicious, and it saved me a lot of money since I didn't need to eat out. Their cooking alone makes the stay worthwhile! They also had a taxi available whenever I wanted to go out. It was always on time, and the cost was very affordable—such a great convenience to have. The combination of great food, reliable transport, and a cozy cabin in a beautiful location made this one of my favorite stays. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-cared-for place to stay near Monkey Falls.
