Mike was an amazing host ! He was extremely accommodating from beginning to end. He let us check in early and also check out later since we had a late flight back home. He recommended AMAZING restaurants & activities for us to do. He directed us to a beautiful beach with crystal clear waters & Amazing local food spots . We really wanted to experience & explore Barbados and he was very helpful. We really felt at home & it felt as if we were staying over with family. His wife was very sweet and their home is just stunning! A plus is their Airbnb has a beautiful view & their neighbors have two beautiful horses I enjoyed drinking my morning coffee & taking in the view. Mikes place exceeded our expectations & would say you will not regret booking with him. We were on the fence of booking Airbnb or a hotel and I am so GLAD we went with mikes place. Thank you Mike and Natalie, we miss you already!

Our stay at Dora’s Cottage was absolutely delightful — peaceful, comfortable, and filled with the warm charm of Barbados. The cottage is nestled in a quiet, safe neighborhood, making it the perfect retreat to relax and recharge, while still being conveniently close to beaches, shops, and restaurants. The space was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to soft linens. We especially enjoyed the outdoor area — ideal for morning coffee and unwinding after a day of exploring the island. Corey was a fantastic host — welcoming, responsive, and full of great local recommendations. His hospitality truly made the experience feel personal and memorable. Has everything you need and nothing that you don’t. Very small and simple home, with AC, wifi, a place to sleep and clean up. Is a little tucked away so make sure to follow the hosts directions and not a gps. There were very quick to respond and show up to help when needed. Definitely worth the price.

Clean,Spacious and quickly felt like home away from home.The decor was beautiful and clean.Bed, couches and chairs were comfortable as well.The outdoor patio made for a nice chill spot in the early mornings and daytime.Loved the natural sunlight that came through all the windows and if I needed to cool down the ac being on for a short time cooled down the entire apt. It was a lovely stay and I’d definitely stay again and recommend. Ria is an amazing host who responds not only prompt but with much flexibility and I really appreciated her for that!

Excellent hosts. Always willing and happy to answer questions or help. My daughters and I had a great time enjoying the pool especially!

Joy's place was excellent. The house is located to all the beautiful South coast beaches. It is located close the main road where it is easy to catch one of the many mini buses traveling in both directions. The apt is very spacious and clean with all the modern amenities. Joy is extremely hospitable....the fridge had fruits, eggs, cheese and drinks waiting for us as well as other snacks. There's a washing machine and dryer with laundry detergent ready and waiting and she also provides you with washrooms essentials. There is on-site parking which was very convenient because we rented a car. There is only AC in the bedroom and a fan in the living area. However, most days were very hot and the fan did not save from heat. The only thing that was very annoying was the squeaky mattress but not the bed. When one of us would toss or turn during the night, it would wake the other one up. Unfortunately, we have experienced this problem on our other trips and did not bother Joy with it.

My favorite ‘home away from home’ place to stay when I visit Barbados. Located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood, this cozy apartment has everything that’s needed to feel comfortable and right at home. I love the accessibility to a washer and dryer. The AC keeps the entire apartment cool with the option of using fans if preferred. My favorite is having the big screen tv …. to relax and watch my sports. Although it’s not a short walking distance to a store, by car it’s just 5 minutes away from the famous Oistins Fish Fry, the beach, a 24 hour gym, supermarkets and restaurants and cafes. This is where I always stay …… when it’s available.
