Our home is nestled on 18 acres of idyllic countryside, which not only boasts access to a private lake with runner boards you can fish from but its green fields roll down to the banks of the Shannon River Navigation. By DAY you can take a stroll, watch calves frolic, swans busy with their signets, darting dragonflies and watch as the cruisers sail past. By NIGHT you can sip a glass and watch the fabulous sunsets, have a BBQ or toast marshmallows over a pot bellied fire under a blanket of stars.

We are next door to Leebeen Park with its beautiful playground and lake and a short 2 minute drive to scenic lakes of Lough Gowna. Lovely spot for fishing lovers and kayaking.1 Minute walk/drive tothe local pubs/shops and a short 5 min drive to nearby villages Arva and Lough Gowna. 15 minute drive to Longford Town and a 20 minute to Cavan Town centre.

My home lies on the banks of the river Erne. Two kms from the town of Belturbet. My house is colourful, comfortable and welcoming. There are many lovely walks along country lanes. You can also take a canoe on the river or just sit by the river and enjoy the peace and quiet. My decking overlooks the river and is a lovely place to relax. There is coffee and tea in all bedrooms. I also supply a light breakfast.. toast, cereal fruit etc. Look forward to meeting you. Bernadette

Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.

This is a lovely four bed roomed house suitable for groups of friends, family occasions . There is a minimum of 6 guests needed for a booking. A 5 minute walk from Lough Rynn Castle Hotel. A 20 min drive from Carrick on Shannon. There are lovely restaurants in the area, and also the restaurant in the Hotel is lovely.
