House by the Church - entire house

My cosy countryside house is placed in the nicest part of Criț, near the Saxon fortified church, on Via Transilvanica trail. You will have the entire house and a small yard to yourself; the place acommodates 4 people max. If you have a thing for authentic accommodations & you are not seeking city-like perfection, you will love it here. Please be so kind to rent it in April & Oct only if you like the idea of making a fire. It is biker friendly & available for longterm. Breakfast is possible here.

The old Saxon house is restored-from the facade to interior details- with traditional materials and methods, conserving the charm of the original house built over 200 years ago. The house is located on the main street of the village of Crit, street listed as "historical monument" Behind the old gate you will discover a completely closed, charming courtyard, sourounded by ancient buildings. At Viscri 44: a light-flooded suite; expandable

A suite fit for long stays, with modern amenities, sunny, with a small private balcony. Upon availability, an extra room with full bath can be reserved along - pls see "A comfy, cute nest". Pic #15 = the suite plan : a bedroom with two attic windows and twin beds + a living room with a glass wall leading to a private balcony + a full bathroom (livingroom access) + half bath (bedroom access). There is a door between the bedroom and the living room. The day bed can be arranged for the 3rd person.

A small outdoor seating area is arranged with two black woven stools and a round table. A potted plant adds a touch of greenery to the table, while a small decorative item and a smooth stone are placed on its surface. A striped mat covers the ground.

This is my birthplace and a place I call home when I have the chance to return. Since it isn't good for a house to be empty, I would like to share this homey feeling with others. The home was freshly renovated but we kept some old items with sentimental value. I hope you will enjoy your stay! Itt születtem és ide térek haza időnként. Mivel nem jó, ha üres a ház, szeretném megosztani másokkal. A frissen felújított otthonban maradt néhány szentimentális emlék. Házigazdánkkal szeretettel várjuk!

This house is right on the main street of the village. It is a traditional, authentic Saxon house, preserved as it was 100 years ago. Only a bathroom has been added. Your days here will be quiet and relaxed. Part of a bigger group? Book also house 28B (same yard). In April & October, this house is heated like in the old days, with a traditional fireplace. House facilities: two rooms with double beds and Saxon drawer beds, one bathroom, kitchen, parking space, shared yard.

Nous avons passé une pause bien agréable pour vivre l’expérience de la vie à l’ancienne. Le matin et le soir, nous avons eu la chance de voir le passage des vaches et des chèvres entre leurs étables et les champs. La maison est très agréable à vivre, rustique mais avec le confort minimum nécessaire. Malgré les grosses chaleurs (30-32), il faisait frais à l’intérieur. L’accueil a été fait par les deux chats de la maison très affectueux. Nous avons pu dîner et prendre le petit déjeuner dans la maison quasi en face. Ce fut un délice avec des produits de la ferme et des plats typiques roumains. Attention cependant. Une personne passe le matin et le soir dans la cour pour nourrir les chiens et les chats. En contrepartie, nous avons eu la chance de voir les adorables chiots. Bref, un très beau séjour.

Charmante maison un peu isolée de la ville, disposant d’une très grande cour privée, avec de nombreux animaux à proximité, très agréable. Maison grande, spacieuse, très propre, meublée simplement mais avec goût, rustique et authentique. Un grand merci à Sorina, qui a été très réactive à la suite d’un problème avec l’eau courante. Attention : Pas de wifi, et cuisine séparée de la maison (besoin de passer par l’extérieur pour y accéder).

Exceptional accommodation in old fashioned style. Totally enjoyed the atmosphere. The village is worth visiting. Suitable also for a solo travelers who want to enjoy the moment. Host was very kind, drove me from and to the city, provided recommendations... Hopefully, will visit again.

Beautiful historical village. The house and the yard are marvelous! Our host, Mrs.Cosmina was a great ambassador for the region, with a big warm heart and great energy!

Lovely location that has as much charm as the rest of the local village and in close proximity to the Restaurant Vscri 32 and other cafés and restaurants. The check in was easy and flexible!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at David's place. Saschiz village is very picturesque and the house is located perfectly between the church and the fortress. From the garden you have an amazing view of both. We totally recommend mountain biking in the area. There are plenty of amazing forest trails. We had our own bikes, but in the village there are several places where you can rent a bike if you don't have one. We also loved the way that the house was decorated. It keeps the traditional style while offering modern comfort. Moreover David was a great host and made sure that we had everything we needed. And he replies lightning fast.
