This rustic riverside cottage was the perfect blend of charm, comfort, and convenience. Tucked away in nature but only 10 minutes from the airport, it made our departure incredibly stress-free—without sacrificing the peaceful, off-the-grid vibe we were craving. The cottage is simple and rustic in the best way—clean, cozy, and full of character. The real highlight is the river just steps away, it felt like having a private natural pool right outside our door.

They did a great job accommodating a relatively last-minute reservation. The house is just over a hill from the construction site for the new airport, so even though it's close you don't have any noise or ugly views. There are some restaurants/bars 10-15 minutes to the West in/near Calibishie. The best beach on the island (Batibou) is also close. However, other major sites are 45+ minutes away. It's a very quiet corner of Dominica.

Arnaud et Marica sont des personnes particulièrement accueillantes et j’ai adoré mon passage dans leur appartement. La localisation est particulièrement paisible au bord d’une belle rivière et l’appartement est parfaitement équipé. C’est le lieu parfait pour découvrir l’Est de la Dominique. My wife and I had a delightful, relaxing, quiet five days at Maurice's place. The view is fabulous, with only our host's house nearby. The private beach and riverfront are beautiful, but the ocean waves can be rough. We bathed in the river. You are surrounded by nature, with dense jungle nearby reverberating with the sounds of birds and frogs. Highly recommended for a simple, back-to-nature vacation.

Le logement est encore mieux que sur les photos ! Impeccable, tout les services étaient là, même un petit plus pour le petit déjeuner. Même si nous n’avons pas rencontrée l’hôte elle nous a très bien accompagnée à distance tout le long du séjour. What a gem. Top air bnb stay for me. Stunning beauty, surrounded by nature with sounds images cannot depict. The house itself, is so creatively and solidly made. Close to lots of local attractions (falls/hikes/hots springs) and the capital Roseau is a short drive down the hill. I stayed in 4 different locations in Dominica and this was my favorite. A perfect place to meditate and connect with the earth. There seemed to be a magic in the air here as I was in sync with nature and everything seemed to just fall into place. Hard to explain- but if you are going to Dominica and even considering staying her. Do yourself the favor and stay here. Even though I did not get a chance to meet the hosts (I was only there 2 nights), they were communicative and directions/instructions were easy to follow. When I return to Dominica, I will return to this heavenly retreat!

We loved staying for 3 weeks in this apartment. It is one level up with an amazing water view of the bay. You literally feel like if you reach out you could touch the water :-) We were spoiled during our stay as Hilma took care of anything & everything we needed. Simply put, she ended up feeling like family. The Lighthouse apartment was exceptionally clean and is beautifully decorated. Please note that if you’re a light sleeper you may want to bring earplugs. Without them the roosters and occasional barking dogs might disturb your sleep. That being said our family of 4 slept great there and we all loved this place. We are definitely looking forward to coming back to This Airbnb.

Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous – un endroit chaleureux, accueillant et incroyablement confortable. L’espace est spacieux, paisible et parfaitement entretenu, avec toutes les commodités nécessaires (et même plus que ce qui était indiqué). C’est l’un des endroits les plus sûrs et reposants où j’ai séjourné. L’emplacement est idéal – très central et proche de toutes les principales attractions de l’île. Que vous souhaitiez explorer la nature, profiter de la culture locale ou simplement vous détendre, cet endroit facilite tout. Il se trouve à environ 25 minutes du port de ferry et à 1 heure de l’aéroport principal, donc très accessible. L’un des meilleurs aspects, c’est l’hôte Pepita – si aimable, serviable et vraiment accueillant. Son sens du détail et son hospitalité ont rendu notre séjour inoubliable.
