Vacation rentals with lake access in Casamance

Well, I've holidayed in the Gambia quite a few times and this tops the list for me. I clicked with Charlotte and Alasan right away and, much more importantly, with their two lovely dogs..😁. Exploring the area - forest walks, beach walks, the out-of-this-world lagoon - was wonderful and I can't wait to return to Charlotte's and Alasan's lovely home on my next trip. Thanks guys!

En la casa de Daniel nos hemos sentido como en casa. La ubicación es perfecta para visitar el mercado de pescado de Tanji y la casa es tal como se muestra en las fotos. Daniel hizo nuestra estancia fácil y agradable. A pesar de que no lo conocimos personalmente, se preocupó desde el primer momento de todo, tanto del proceso de llegada, como de que estuviéramos bien en todo momento. Además, como nuestro vuelo salía tarde por la noche y no tenía huéspedes al día siguiente, nos dejó quedarnos en su casa hasta la hora de irnos al aeropuerto.

I stayed here for one night but definitely wish I had stayed longer. The rooms was nice and clean with a lovley hot shower.,good WiFi. Papis was very welcoming and cooked a lovley meal for me. The holiday home is beautiful definitely worth a visit Papis the host is so friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area and suggested lots of tours that he does he took me to airport which was one less worry of waiting around for taxis. I would absolutely recommend staying here and I can not wait to return again and stay here for my holiday while in the Gambia. Thankyou so much papis I will be seeing you again soon 😁

Très beau l'emplacement entre des jolies villas -très beau quartier très aéré et bon air à respirer surtout, à 10 minutes chrono d'une très large plage naturelle et bien longuement très lissée en profondeur(idéal jusqu'à enfants inclus), à part passer un parc naturel avec des chemins larges tout même car passants à la demi-heure disons mais toute au long de la journée - c'est pas la jungle! Des écureuils et petits singes y a. Serpents on a pas vu. La sécurité tout-même à mon avis au delà de nécessaire car nous on aurait préféré que soient attachés à un fil centré au jardin et bien long -les chiens de ces hôtes- car trop demandants de carresses (joueurs trop sans rien les demander avec nous clients mais très en pointe à tout à l'extérieur-rue, et donc je recommande les laisser libres complètement que de nuit ou quand personne là - on aurait préféré) -car surtout pour cause d'éviter transmission de maladies ou des poils(ou laver mains toujours) Qualité prix pour la période fut TRÈS OK

Charlotte and her partner has been beyond Great. they were showing us around, and sharing a lot of interesting insights about Gambia life perspective. the place was well taken care off and organized. we felt like we've known each other since a long time and can't wait to meet them again! thank you guys!

Amazing location, within easy walking distance of senagambia and all of its bars and restaurants. Close to the beaches and taxis available right outside. The apartment was large and had everything that we needed. Although the apartment was close to the road, it felt really secure, with a high wall and large metal gates. We stayed in the apartment for 4 weeks and had a truly amazing time, surrounded by Gambian life. A really big thank you to our host, Pamela.

Estuvimos pasando dos días en Kafountine y el alojamiento de Nathalie fue perfecto para lo que buscábamos. Una mini casita independiente para nosotros, con una terraza al lado de un gran baobab, mucha intimidad y a 5 minutos de la playa. El camino no está asfaltado y es de difícil acceso en coche, pero hay motitos que te llevan hasta ahí y puedes llegar andando. El lugar es precioso, en plena naturaleza, la cama muy cómoda, el baño muy bien, con agua caliente. Hay un pequeño frigorífico y todo lo necesario para tomarte un café cuando vuelves de la playa. Nathalie nos ayudó a solucionar un problema que tuvimos en el pueblo y siempre estuvo disponible para nosotros. Estancia maravillosa, anfitriona perfecta, 100% recomendable.

I couldn't have asked for more, the place was very clean and my host was excellent. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and comfortable at their place. I felt like family, and indeed now I am family. People like my host are the reason I never want to give up on humankind, yes good people still exist, they are wonderful and their hospitality is excellent. I will definitely be visiting soon and will stay at the same place. I am really grateful for all the love and support while staying at your place in the Gambia. lovely place & great host. Only thing is the bedroom and bathroom doors don't close properly but didn't affect nothing neverless many thanks prime. Will definitely stay again🤝🏿
