Vacation rentals with a kayak in Cartagena Province

Nos quedamos una noche para celebrar la boda íntima de unos amigos, la vista al mar es insuperable, el kiosko muy agradable para cenar, la habitación y la sala con aire acondicionado y muy cómodas. Tienen unos perritos muy amigables que te alegran el rato. La atención de la pareja que cuida la casa es muy buena, son muy amables y están dispuestos a ayudar en lo que uno necesite. Alberto es un gran anfitrión, siempre atento a responder nuestras inquietudes , nos ofreció de cortesía el transporte hasta la casa. La casa está cerca y a su vez lejos de cartagena lo que da una total privacidad. Toca tomar unos 10 minutos por carreta destapada pero en buen estado, eso hace parte de la experiencia. Sin dudarlo volvería. Gracias a todos.

Beautiful place, The hosts were very friendly and welcomed us with a small gift basket containing some drinks and even mosquito repellent. We also had a service assistant, who was very helpful in the house. A great thing was that they helped us arrange a boat to take us out to the bay at night to see the luminous plankton—an incredible experience. We would definitely return. 100% recommended…

This place was spectacular! Just like the pictures, and the host Luis showed hospitality like no other!

Un lugar increíble, mi familia y yo logramos estar un fin de semana muy agradable, el anfitrión súper amable pero las personas que te ayudan en la casa, son otro nivel, completamente agradecida y nos vamos felices con ganas de volver.

I don’t have enough good things to say about our stay at Lago de Los Sueños. The main house and the casitas were lovely and comfortable and just what we needed for a true, unbelievably relaxing vacation. We were only 5 people, and it was way more space than we needed, but we spread out and enjoyed extra peace. Besides the absolutely gorgeous home and vistas, the best parts were Elena from Go Cartagena who arranged our van and boat transfer from the airport, even late night, and a full day boat trip on the final day, as well as food for the time we were there. Yeseniya (sp?) at the house was an absolute gem! She made all our meals and everything was sooooo delicious. Seriously, each meal was more delicious than the last. She also kindly did our laundry before we left for the city. And she did everything with such kindness and always with a smile. And Jose and Diana supported her with setting up the dock every day and meals. We kayaked and swam and sunbathed and lazed about. Amazing!!

The house was beautiful and exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing. Anita cooked and cleaned during our stay, and her meals were delicious. She made everything easier for us. Ermet, the butler, was fantastic, helping with groceries and arranging boat rides. Monica, our host, ensured the transportation process was smooth. We chose to travel by car from Cartagena to Barú and then by boat to the house. While it worked, the car ride at night was stressful for two older members of our group (both over 60). The bumpy roads and chaotic traffic were overwhelming. Next time, we’d prefer the direct boat ride for comfort. Grocery shopping was a bit challenging since we weren’t familiar with the local brands and products. It was a little overwhelming, but Anita’s cooking made up for it. The peaceful surroundings of the house were perfect for disconnecting. The sounds of nature were so relaxing, and the sweet dogs and cat on the property made our stay even better.

La casa es hermosa y amplia, exactamente como se ve en las fotos. Tiene una decoración caribeña encantadora y techos altos que le dan un ambiente fresco y acogedor. Viajamos desde Cartagena en nuestro vehículo; aunque algunas calles del camino a Barú estaban algo deterioradas, no fue un problema para llegar. Usamos la casa para un retiro de trabajo en equipo y el lugar ofreció toda la tranquilidad y las comodidades necesarias para concentrarnos y relajarnos. Todos los espacios cuentan con aire acondicionado, lo cual fue ideal con el clima cálido de la zona. Además, la planta eléctrica funcionó de maravilla y resolvió perfectamente los cortes de energía habituales en Barú, así que siempre tuvimos luz. Queremos hacer una mención especial a Ela, quien nos ayudó con la limpieza y nos cocinó platos locales deliciosos. En resumen, tuvimos una experiencia excelente ¡y sin dudarlo volveríamos a hospedarnos aquí de nuevo!

Fue un viaje en familia muy agradable e inolvidable. Es un sitio para volver a visitar con vistas hermosas. La anfitriona es muy amable y la atención de Daniel excelente.

A perfect stay! The house is really great, it looks exactly as shown in the photos. The beach is beautiful and private. Carolina is a great host who helped us a lot from the beginning. Including transportation to the house. Thanks to her, we saved a lot of money! :) The staff in the house are very attentive, helpful and friendly. They prepared three meals a day for us and it always tasted delicious. The house and the rooms are cleaned daily, so you can relax all day and don't have to worry about anything. Overall a perfect experience! We will gladly come back. :) Thank you very much!

Aunque hubo una falla de comunicación entre las partes, el señor Remy, siempre estuvo dispuesto a solucionar mis necesidades. Se mostró muy pendiente de todo lo que necesitábamos, la señora Sielva, fue quien nos atendió en el lugar y nos cocinó. Tiene un sazón exquisito!!! Una de las mejores comidas de mar que hemos probado, hecho por la manos de ella. El lugar increíble, la playa privada lo máximo. La cama súper cómoda y el silencio y la tranquilidad que se siente, es indescriptible. La rentaría todas las veces que pueda 💕 muchísimas gracias al Señor Remy por permitirme rentar este espacio para desconectarnos. Fue la mejor inversión

Un gran lugar para descansar, muy cómodo, tranquilo y sobre todo con atención oportuna que hace de las vacaciones un tiempo de relajación. Muy recomendado

From the moment I arrived in Cartagena, everything about my stay at OJALÁ was perfect. Tomás helped me arrange private transportation. A van picked me up at the airport, waited while I stopped at the market, and took me directly to the house in Barú. I was welcomed with a tropical fruit drink, which set the tone for an incredible stay. The staff was lovely. They were warm, attentive, and made me feel completely at home. And the food was so delicious and beautifully presented. The house is stunning, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxed getaway. The A/C in the rooms work perfectly given the hot weather in Cartagena. Sunsets at the deck were beautiful. I also booked a private boat tour with Tomás, who took me snorkeling around the Rosario Islands - amazing experience. This is a magical place. I’m already planning to return later this year with my family. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place to stay right on the beach and plenty of places to sit and relax. Electricity only turns on at 6pm and off in the morning. The wifi is not accessible in the house rather in a park nearby. Not too much of an inconvenience just wasn’t aware going into it

Paolo y su mamá nos trataron como familia, nos recibieron con unos jugos exquisitos y nos deleitaron con la comida de su Perú natal. El alojamiento cuenta con unas vistas increíbles de las hermosas playas de Baru y es realmente muy cómodo. Sin dudas volvería una y mil veces!

Maravilloso lugar para desconectar y descansar.

A really peaceful location and relaxing stay. Great shared space for catching up with friends. We loved our day trip to the islands and snorkeling sites (including beautiful mangrove lagoon). Evening paddle to mangrove lagoon and bioluminescent plankton was incredible! Luz and Roi at house were friendly and helpful. We brought food from Cartagena and Luz cooked us delicious meals (including local fish) . It would have been nice to have advice on visiting nature reserve surrounding the property which we felt was a missed opportunity. Thank you very much!

La Tortuga is an amazing place to get energized and to rest in a fantastic environment. The surrounding landscapes are stunning and the service people are incredible attentive and supportive. It’s difficult to find a better and most beautiful place in the Caribbean. With an incredible beach just in front of the house, an absolutely private surrounding, we, as family, spent one of the magnificent weeks in our life. Tomas is an amazing host! Always supportive and ready to fulfill any possible wish. We will return! Undoubtedly
