The A-Frame

Vanessa AineLeighRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our A Frame stay was perfect! Highly recommend! A great base from which to explore hiking Wild Nephin National Park and located in an absolutely stunning area - gorgeous coastal views to one side and beautiful Mountain View’s to the other. Super close to Westport and groceries, dining, etc. if needed. The cabin is immaculately clean, modern design and amenities, and plenty of room for meal prep. Really pretty light and views. Abundant hot water and heat, washer, dryer, and dishwasher all brand new and work great. Comfy cozy bed and couches/chairs. Serene outdoor spaces and surrounds in a private yard that feels secluded but safe at the end of a lane with charming farmhouses. Brendan is responsive and helpful host. We loved our stay and would stay again if we’re in the area in the future!

Seaview Cottage beside the Western Greenway

UteRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a perfect time. You definitely need a car as the house is literally in the middle of nowhere. The house is very well equipped with everything you may need. All furniture is super solid and comfortable. We'd like to highlight the pillows and duvets. Both are of highest quality and made us happy each evening! On top there are electric blankets in each! If you're looking for a quite and comfortable place with a lot of things around to see and do, you found the perfect spot!
A serene lakeside scene is observed, featuring calm water reflecting the surrounding mountains. A stone jetty extends into the lake, while frost-kissed grass and shrubs line the shore, contributing to the natural beauty of the remote landscape.

Bell tent nestled in the wild (1)

ConorRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great stay. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful at all times. The tent was exactly as described, as were the shower and composting toilet, the stove in the tent is a great addition for the colder nights. Cooking a fresh pizza is so easy in it, we baked eggs in the mornings too and we always had hot water for washing up. Works are still underway with the shower to make it a little more private which will be a great plus as there are more tents on site and this will make guests more comfortable we feel. A small screen across the front of the toilet might help to make it feel more comfy! The area is incredible for discovering Mayo, the site is close to the Greenway, Achill island and Westport. The dark skies at night take your breath away as it is really close to Wild Nephin National Park. We hiked the Letterkeen Looped trail which is quite close, it is a good challenge with the most incredible views. We hope to see ye again soon!

River Cottage Retreat~Sauna~Cold Plunge~Waterfall

ViktorRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Our stay at River Cottage felt less like checking into an Airbnb and more like stepping into Anna and Luke’s thoughtfully curated retreat. Nestled beside a usually gentle stream, the cottage offered a rare kind of quiet. We found ourselves unwinding in ways we hadn’t expected. As if the place itself were helping us silence the usual rush of thoughts. The sauna and cold plunge, discreetly positioned at the water’s edge, added a touch of simple luxury. They blended seamlessly into the natural surroundings rather than standing out as flashy extras, even when lit up at night. We explored the surrounding area by car and found Sligo to be the perfect complement to the cottage’s peaceful seclusion. My wife and I already feel drawn back to this little slice of Ireland - eager for another chance to recharge in the calm that Anna and Luke have created. We’re also looking forward to seeing their next ideas come to life.

Elegant Westport Cottage - Sleeps 6

CronanRating, 5 stars8 months ago
A wonderful stay in a beautiful farmhouse looking over Clew Bay in the shadow of Croagh Patrick (the Reek). This is Irish hospitality at its best. Friendly, interested and responsive hosts - James, his lovely parents and his brother. A traditional home that has been thoroughly modernised and refreshed. Lovely touches to make you feel at home - logs left for the fire, milk, tea, coffee, biscuits and brown bread. Spotlessly clean house. Highly recommended.
