Mid Century Bungalow

This amazing mid century guesthouse is set 12 mi. East of Carmel and 2 mi. West of Carmel Valley Village. Very spacious and cozy with mountain, valley views and sunshine everywhere! Water, snacks, local coffee, shampoo/conditioner are all provided! The kitchenette does not have a stove/oven. The bungalow is a studio with a queen bed and I'm happy to set up an additional twin bed for an extra guest. The pool is not available for guest use at this time. Complementary Moterey Bay Aquarium passes.

Life Is Good in our Quiet and Peaceful retreat

TOT fees are included in the nightly fee. MoCoCert. # 001606 Zen feeling at ‘Life is Good’, a treehouse overlooking Hitchcock Canyon:) Our driveway is long and steep! Parties, loud gatherings are not allowed. 9:00 pm quiet time outside! Extra guest fee $100.00 per person. Pets are welcome; we do have a $50.00 pet fee. Yard is Not fully fenced! No smoking allowed on property. No candles, fires or flames at all. Three car maximum: parking is very limited. Park cars parallel to each other.

Our stay at the Cozy Home on a Hill was perfect and the hosts were great! Everything was as listed and the views were even better. Drinking coffee on the patio and watching the hummingbirds and deer go by was magically peaceful and probably my favorite part of the stay. Beds were super comfy and kitchenette well stocked. Would absolutely stay again.

Such unique Airbnb experience! It was lovely to stay in the redwoods- so quiet and peaceful. The host ensured that I read the manual before booking and I’d encourage the same to avoid surprises- steep walk to the house, no internet in there, and limited amenities, but all this was described in several locations. It was chilly, but the house is well equipped with space heaters and blankets. Sofanya was as responsive and friendly and checked on us a couple times when we crossed paths on the property to make sure we had what we needed, but gave us plenty of privacy.

A modern living area is highlighted by a sleek fireplace surrounded by stone. A large window frames views of the outdoors, allowing natural light to fill the space. Two green ottomans are positioned in front of a comfortable sofa, with a glass of wine and a plate visible.

We had an amazing stay at Amanda’s place! The home was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the cozy decor and convenient location. Amanda was a fantastic host, and we’d definitely book again. Highly recommend!

Cute house. Would advise driving during daylight tho, the roads are extremely windy and challenging at night. We had a tough time driving up in the dark. The amenities like hot tub were great. House was as described! Easy to use amenities. Would advise bringing a jacket on April.
