Barn vacation rentals in Carmarthenshire

Our primary reason for the stay was to visit our daughter who lives nearby. Angus and Bean couldn't have been kinder, ensuring we had plenty of logs if the evenings were chilly, checking that we had everything we needed and their enthusiasm for the locality was evident. A beautiful place to stay and we shall definitely return later this year.

We had a lovely stay. The location was quiet and peaceful but still close enough to some lovely beaches. The accommodation was immaculately presented and very nice. We would certainly think about returning and would 100% recommend.

The property was a beautiful peaceful location. Being a converted barn everything was on one level. Very contemporary and tastefully decorated throughout. Every eventuality has been catered for whether a short or long stay. Looking forward to returning when next in the area. Totally recommended.

Lovely cottage and felt right at home with the dogs. Very secure and safe to let them run free. Cottage very cosy and bonus of a hot tub. Peaceful area to chill out and enjoy the scenery. Many thanks lesley and tigs we will be back with are four legged best friends 🧡 💙❤️🐕

We had an enjoyable stay in The Dairy. It is clean and spacious and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Leah is very friendly and available if needed but never intrusive. The walk up to the top field through the original temperate rain forest is wonderful. there is a magical dome up there which is used for retreats. lt was such a treat to have this right outside your door.

Great location, interesting and quaint barn conversion (love the garden room), bijoux kitchen area but it had all the essentials, close to family who were camping, good wi-fi access, effective heating system. Plenty of active indoor activities for children and plenty of space for outdoor activates as well. Helpful and friendly hosts.

Our family had an amazing stay at Dol Y Frenni! The property was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The peaceful surroundings and stunning scenery made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The hosts were fantastic—thoughtful, welcoming, and always available if we needed anything. We especially appreciated the little touches that made the place feel like a home away from home. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would highly recommend Dol Y Frenni to anyone looking for a cozy and memorable retreat.

We had a great stay at the cosy cottage very clean and stunning place. The farm was massive the work they do is amazing. Stunning views The hot tub was very clean and working perfectly. The Dovecote lived up to expectations. It's a beautifully presented property in a very peaceful setting with a garden. Michelle, the host, ensured we were settled in on the afternoon we arrived and was on hand in a neighbouring property should we have needed any other help. We stayed with friends and the bedrooms and en suites were ideal. Would love to stay again.

We had the most wonderful & relaxing stay. It was everything we needed for a beautiful week away. The property is absolutely stunning, with everything you would want & need included. The hot tub was a highlight, that with the fully enclosed garden meant we could really relax with our two Jack Russells after some gorgeous days spent on the local beaches, with the fantastic weather we had. Huw was incredibly attentive and so helpful if we needed anything. I would recommend this property highly to anyone & we hope to return ourselves next summer. All in all a fantastic stay. This is a beautiful place to stay. It was even nicer than the photos with tea, sugar, Welsh cakes, good quality bed linen, plenty of toilet rolls and towels. It was comfortable and spotlessly clean. It rained non stop, but this gave us the excuse to cwtch down on the lovely sofas and read our books - bliss! The surroundings are wonderful - birdsong, rolling hills and a gorgeous cherry tree in full blossom outside the door. Ed was really receptive to our texts and gave clear instructions on how to get into the property. There is bags of room to park and check in was really easy. It was incredibly private and we felt like we’d gone to a special, quiet place of our own for three days. We heartily recommend it.

We had such a lovely stay! the cottage is everything it needs to be and it’s so close to all the beaches. The place is calm and quiet, great for a peaceful getaway. Louise and Guy were great hosts - super helpful and friendly.

Absolutely loved staying at Gemma’s place, beautiful decor, peaceful surroundings very tranquil and felt right at home. Loved the touch with the tea, milk and biscuits a must to set you up in the mornings prior to walking. Great information sent re all the walks! We did pen y fan and the four waterfalls! Not forgetting the pubs the ancient Britain and the red lion for brilliant food! Thanks so much!! Had a blast would highly recommend xx

We had an amazing stay at the cottage. The house was just perfect, the hot tub was divine and the only neighbours we saw were the 2 lovely horses, Saffy and Angel.

Mez’s farmhouse was absolutely beautiful, the location and the views were stunning. There’s plenty to see nature wise, lots of beautiful animals to see and peaceful walks to take! The actual farm house was exactly like the pictures and super spacious. Comes with everything you could need and mez was super helpful, he helped with pretty much everything! He explained everything to us and gave us recommendations for everything we asked about. Best air bnb stay I’ve had !!

The cottage was extremely charming, cozy and comfortable. The farm itself was enchanting. The animals added a nice touch of spice. The entire area is breathtakingly gorgeous.

Lovely home. It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but you are 5 minutes from the motorway. All you can hear are birds and the river, so relaxing! The pool is definitely bigger than it looks in the pictures. We will definitely be going back!

Beautiful stay at Owl Cottage. Neil and Kate were wonderful hosts. Our whippets loved playing in the fully enclosed dog friendly area. We had such a relaxing time that we are planning our next stay as soon as we can! I would definitely recommend staying at any one of Neil and Kates' cottages....you won't regret it!

If you want a chilled couple days with friends then this is the place for you. Beautiful cottage, very clean, plenty of space, lovely views, great indoor hot tub which over looks the valley. I would highly recommend this place and the hosts Serena and Marc, made it extra special buy leaving personal touches as it was my birthday ( prosecco, a card, a cake, a banner) thanks for a great weekend.

The Mill was a dreamy countryside getaway! Charlie and Spot did an amazing job designing the interior to feel rustic and modern at the same time! They were quick to respond and had provided all that we needed for our stay. Great outdoor space and cozy vibes all around! Would highly recommend staying here and hope we have a chance to come back ◡̈

This is a quiet peaceful place in rural west Wales. If that is where you want / need to be then this Air B&B is the best - certainly as good as or better than anywhere else you could stay. 5 stars for everything. Thank you Martin and Isobel.
