Studio apartment located in historic district of downtown Carlisle, Pa. Its convenient location allows guests the opportunity to walk to the shops, sites and restaurants. The Car Show, Dickinson College and The Army Heritage Center are all only a couple miles away. The bed is a large futon, very comfortable, but may be difficult for some to maneuver. Most everyone has been very comfortable on it! For same day bookings guests must send a request before 9pm at night for that night.

This quaint 1,500 square feet carriage house is on the back of a property that is home to a 19th century Victorian know as "Glass Gable". In 2000 Walt and Diana Brown purchased this property and began restoration and remodeling. The woodwork and other accommodations throughout have all been carefully selected to provide the atmosphere of an European Chalet. The Carriage House is within walking distance to downtown Carlisle and its many historic attractions.

I am excited to be able to offer my beautifully designed space close to Dickinson, the War College, Carlisle Fairgrounds, Appalachian Trail, Harrisburg and Gettysburg. You have your own off-street parking, private entrance and a large bedroom/sitting room with full private bathroom and a microwave/ mini-refrigerator for your convenience.

A perfect place to get away from the stresses of life to relax and unwind . You Can have a seat on the large porch overlooking the Conodoguinet creek and enjoy watching nature , watch your kids playing and splashing in the creek , make dinner with the BBQ grill on the back patio or be just plain lazy ! There is no tv at this place , our goal is to have our guests enjoy nature and in this way be refreshed and ready to go back to work.
