Walk to Beach, Golf Cart, Pool, Bikes, Air Hockey

GabbyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
I cannot recommend this spot enough! From the moment we stepped into the house it felt like a very clean and beautiful home away from home!! There is so much that the house offers between the bikes, boards, games, and the golf carts to keep teens, kiddos and adults busy. No one was bored and everyone was happy. The location is wonderful, with many private spots and easy access to the bay and beach. The hosts were super easy to communicate with, very kind and accommodating. It’s hard for me to find a place that checks all the boxes, but this one tops the list! We will definitely be returning !!

Gated Beach Access - Pool - Pet Friendly

ThomasRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The location was excellent, a few minute walk thru the community to the beach. The townhouse overlooked a pond, enjoyed watching the numerous turtles and birds from the decks while relaxing or barbecuing on the gas grill. Everything needed for a beach day was provided, we used the umbrella, chairs, and a beach wagon to easily get it to the beach. The unit was nicely decorated, the kitchen was well equipped to make cooking easy. The king sized bed was very comfortable. We had a great vacation relaxing on the beach, fishing, exploring the state park, riding on the bicycle trail., and eating oysters at the numerous oyster bars in the Port Saint Joe area

Escape to St. Joe Beach at Villa Blanca - Pool

JessicaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I can’t begin to describe what an amazing beach house this was. It went above and beyond my expectations. I felt right at home as if it was my own. The distance to the beach was perfect. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. I was able to take my dog for a few mile long walks around the neighborhood. The sunsets are beautiful as well as the early morning breeze that blows through the screened in porch. The swing on the porch was big enough to sleep on. And if you are lucky you might even get to hear, see and feel the jets fly over heading towards or away from the near by Air Force base. But don’t worry you would hardly know the base was there unless you knew ahead of time. There are many restaurants and a cute little downtown. There is a lighthouse in town and even a Sea Turtle Center. I would definitely recommend Lourdes’ Pink Door Vacay and cannot wait to go there again soon.

Bow Wow Bungalow

We LOVED The Bow Wow Bungalow! Vince was a life saver. We contacted him at the absolute last minute when our original rental had a mildew problem and he responded so quickly. We are so glad we moved to the bungalow!!! Seriously the best place we’ve ever stayed and so accommodating for our fur babies. We can’t wait to come back! I can’t say enough nice things about the hospitality or the accommodations.

New! Cozy Home, Pool & Hot Tub, 200 Steps to Beach

FrancisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This place was wonderful for our family. It was lovely to have a private pool to get in and a nice large deck. The home was clean and had enough room for our family. The kitchen was great to cook in and had everything we needed to make good meals every night that we wanted to cook. There was even extra shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in each shower and extra laundry detergent that smelled wonderful with dryer sheets and extra trash bags and extra dishwasher tabs. This was a great place to stay with excellent communication from the host and I would highly recommend it. Our family did not want to leave. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an awesome stay! Just a short walk to the beach, it was the ideal spot for a relaxing family vacation. The outdoor deck was perfect for morning coffee and evening sunsets. The neighborhood was quiet and had very friendly neighbors. The owner was super helpful and responsive. There is a small pond a few blocks away where I liked to watch the birds in the evenings. Steps from the white sugar sands of St Joe Beach

Troy and Jean’s place is impeccable! We had a great stay! The home was exactly as described, spotless comfortable and well-equipped. The bed was comfortable,Wi-Fi was strong and the kitchen had everything we needed. The check in was easy, the neighborhood felt safe and quiet. Our stay felt like being in a high-end-hotel but more relaxed and personal. Clean linens and soft bath towels were all provided, which we appreciated after a long travel day.The beach chairs and a cart was ready to go, which made heading out to the water super easy and stress free. It’s the little touches like that that really made a difference. Troy and Jean clearly put thought into what guests might need. Hosts were responsive and helpful. We definitely will book again if we are back in the area.

Your guide to Cape San Blas

All About Cape San Blas

The little-explored white-sand beaches of Cape San Blas make up the western edge of the Florida Panhandle’s “Forgotten Coast.” But a stay on this tranquil finger of barrier dunes and coco palms will actually have you forgetting everything else. The pristine gulf-front getaway has some of the finest sands in the country, earning it spots on lists of the nation’s top beaches, while the destination’s bay side is defined by pine trees and fishing docks extending over shallow waters and swaying turtle grass. Tight regulations have kept development here limited, with only single-family homes and townhomes gracing the otherwise pristine coastline. Wildlife therefore abounds, and outdoor adventures such as kayaking, stand-up paddling, and cycling are all the more interesting for it.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Cape San Blas

Like other destinations around the Panhandle, the most temperate months to visit Cape San Blas are May and October, although the biting flies also tend to hit the beaches during those months, which can be unpleasant. Summer days get hot, with temperatures regularly entering the 80s and sometimes the 90s Fahrenheit, and August is the rainiest month, with some scattered storms. From November to February the temperature drops, with averages ranging in the 50s. Whenever you go, you’re unlikely to encounter crowds, and you should definitely pack sun protection and a trusty pair of flip-flops.

T. H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park

It’s great for a swim, a wilderness hike, a bike ride on Loggerhead Run Bike Path, or a fishing excursion, and the sunsets are magnificent.

Salinas Park

In 2020, this family-friendly park and popular picnicking spot added new hiking trails and an elevated boardwalk overlooking St. Joseph’s Bay. There’s also a pickleball court and some lovely water features, including misting fountains, You can reach the park via the Loggerhead Run Bike Path, which also connects to the neighboring T. H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park.
