Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Cape May

Remodeled Cape May condo -with private backyard!
The place was just perfect for out little mini-vacation! The place was big for the two of us & the dog. Everything was as expected :)

Little Beach House pet friendly 1 block to beach
This is our second stay at Katie’s home and it was just like the last! Beautiful location! Our dog loves the fenced in yard and it was very secure. Sunsets at the bay are a must! Would recommend to anybody.

Designer House w/ Secluded Salt Meadow
House was even better than the pictures. Very quiet and serene. Got to see birds and rabbits while having morning coffee on the back porch. Would definitely stay there again.

Beach Bum Bungalow (Dog Friendly)
Great house in great North Cape May quiet residential location. Our 13-year-old Miniature Schnauzer loved the fenced in backyard. Loved the design, artwork & vibe of the place. Two good-sized bedrooms, nicely appointed kitchen. We are frequent Cape May visitors and we prefer being a bit away from downtown. But this place was an easy drive. Definitely would recommend this dog-friendly spot.

Cape May Getaway!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay! Drew’s place and photos were exactly as pictured. It was the perfect spot to bring our 18-month old and dog which was a plus! The location was excellent - walking distance to the beach (about 5-10 minute walk) and about 10-15 minute walk to Washington Street Mall. We’d definitely stay here again.

Charming Bungalow
Absolutely perfect. Tastefully decorated & clutter free. Spotless. Highly recommend ! Mary NYC 2025

Teal on Teal Ave - Dog Friendly Getaway by the Bay
We had a great time visiting Cape May and staying at David’s place. It was centrally located to everything (beach, wineries/breweries, downtown area, Wildwood etc) and his home was the perfect size for my family including our dog and toddler. House was clean and backyard was great to relax in. Would stay here again!

Come watch the sunsets at this bay beach getaway!
This place was amazing! The decor was wonderful, so cool and eclectic! My aunt, cousin, and I stayed for 3 nights and were happy and comfortable, it was a fun girls trip. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need and very clean. Bathrooms were super cool and both had walk in showers. The location was great, only a few minutes from downtown Cape May. My cousin enjoyed staying in the backyard bedroom, its was very cute an comfy. We also enjoyed the firepit in the evenings. Teresa had a great guidebook, and we took her up on several of her suggestions. Cape May is a fun town and the beautiful Victorian homes are not to be missed. I suggest the Historic trolley tour. All in all, this was a wonderful stay and would 100% stay again!
Family friendly vacation rentals in Cape May

Beautiful, bright & steps to the beach
Great neighborhood very close to the beach and the nature conservancy. Peaceful neighborhood. Excellent upside down house with great decks. The furniture and beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Heather, the host, was so helpful and allowed an early check in. I would definitely go back here again! Cape May during this Winter Wonderland weekend made us feel like we were extras in a Hallmark holiday movie. We had the best time! - Alexis

The Seapointe House
This cozy house was clean and neat and has all the amenities you would need. David was very responsive and a few days prior he notified us that we could check in early, which was very helpful. Upstairs master bedroom suite with balcony is especially nice. Ten minute drive to Cape May and less than five minutes to the beach and the ferry.

Wilde Rose By The Bay - Salt water Inground pool
Great stay with family. The kids loved the pool in the backyard. Place was well set up for two adults and three children between 8-11. Location is just off the bay beach and the sunset views were amazing.

5mins to Congress Hotel / Beach&Washington St Mall
Nancy’s place was wonderful for our family of four. The location was perfect, the apartment itself was very charming and spacious, and all of the included amenities made it very convenient. We particularly loved the screened in porch as well as the two awesome coffee shops within a few minutes walk. We can’t wait to come back.

House on the Hill- Dog Friendly Near Cape May
My family really enjoyed our stay at The House on the Hill. This cottage in Cape May is cozy, comfortable, and clean. It's a beautiful house with lots of outdoor spaces to relax in. And the location is perfect: conveniently close to the cape but far enough from any hustle and bustle of the crowds. Next time we must bring our furry friend with us as she would love it, too.

Bright, Airy 3 BR on 2 acres w/ POOL-West Cape May
Once again, we had a great time at Cara's home! Our third year here and we continue to be very happy with the location, amenities, and charm of the house. Thank you so much for your flexibity and for the wonderful note and delightful bottle of wine. Andrea & Michael

Stone Harbor Water Views
We loved staying at Steve and Louise's beautiful property. Watching the sun rise and set over the tidal wetlands was magical, and there were many amazing birds. The fenced yard was great for our dog. The interior had good natural light, which is unusual for a ground floor unit with a balcony over it. The bed was extremely comfortable. Steve was very nice, and made sure to check on us frequently to see if we needed anything, and stopped by to chat a number of times. As listed, the indoor shower is small but the outdoor shower is much larger. I used the outdoor shower and the water pressure was great. It might be difficult for someone elderly or with mobility disabilities because it's a little hard to balance on the sloped slippery wood. The location is perfect - between Stone Harbor and Cape May Courthouse so it is convenient for necessities, but easy to get to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again.

2nd Fl. Private 2 Bedroom Cozy Condo in Wildwood.
Amazing! We had a last minute birthday party invitation and decided to make a weekend out of it. Frank's place was available and exactly in the area we needed. His listing was filled with detail and nothing was left a surprise. The apartment was perfect! Clean, bright and cheerful, and the perfect space for our family for the weekend. The breeze from the windows in the livingroom made it the perfect beach getaway! I would definitely book again. Side note: the kitchen was a bit small, so if you were looking for a place to do big summer dinners or baking lol, this might not fit. Luckily, i neither needed to cook, or have the skill to. We were all more than comfortable and so happy with how close to everything we were. The attached yard was a great place to read my kindle and drink my coffee in the quiet mornings. Thank you for such a great weekend, not having to stress about accommodations left us free to enjoy our weekend with our family. Thank you.
Vacation rentals with pools in Cape May

Beautiful 5BR house with inground salt water pool
This place was big enough for my family and a very good experience from the time we arrived till we left. Maria was very polite and welcome to us. The pool was warm enough for us and she kept up with keeping it comfortable for my grandchikdren. I recommended this property as a place to stay for a week with your family. Perfect stay.

Garden of Zen
We enjoyed our stay at Bill's place. the space was clean and comfortable. We came down to do Christmas stuff in Cape May and Ocean City and Bill even put up a mini tree for us. So thoughtful! We will definitely stay again.

Ocean Front View | On Beach | Pool |Wildwood Crest
Umi and Bill were wonderful hosts. Everything was exactly as described, great communication, very clear instructions, lots of recommendations, a full book layed out very clearly with sections of anything you would want to know about the area, what to do, restaurants they recommended. The unit was pristine, had everything we could have needed & then some and offered an amazing view of the ocean. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at any of Umi and Bill's properties in the future and I look forward to staying with them again!

Mystical Cape May's Modern Farmhouse: The Widmore
Dave’s place was nothing short of phenomenal. I’ve stayed at many an Airbnb and have never had such a pristine experience along with a host that was bending over backwards. I don’t think I waited more than 10 minutes for a response from Dave when I had a question. The location is at the top of cape may with beautiful scenery in the front and total privacy in the back. I can’t encourage people enough to stay here! It was perfect.

Cozy Wildwood Crest Beach - Poolside Condo
Just returned from my 6th stay at Erica’s condo. Most of the units are owner occupied with only a few rentals. It’s perfect for those looking for a chill relaxing environment. Just a few blocks to the beach, Centennial Park (has live music series!), and Sunrise Park. Erica is an awesome host, the condo is perfect and well maintained. We’re already booked again for next year!

Bayside Beach Home with a pool-New Deck for 2025
The best vacation spot! Tara was very helpful, polite, & very responsive. We will definitely rent from her again!! Overall an amazing experience from booking to checking in to leaving!

Mermaid House at Cape May Marina
The Mermaid House was an idyllic escape just mins from bustling Cape May. It was an essential refuge from the vibrant energy on one of the busiest summer weekends. So perfect that it could be our second home.

The Villa By the Bay-Private Heated Pool & Hot Tub
We had a wonderful stay at this North Cape May home. The house was spotless when we arrived and well equipped-perfect for our group of 6 adults and a baby. The heated pool and hot tub were great extras and we enjoyed them both. The owners went above and beyond by providing snacks and toiletries. While not in downtown Cape May, the location was very convenient- just 10 minutes to town and extremely close (walking distance) to a grocery store and other shopping. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful throughout. I highly recommend!

Your guide to Cape May
Welcome to Cape May
It’s easy to see why the entire city of Cape May is a National Historic Landmark. Stepping into the resort town, most of which was rebuilt following a 1878 fire, is like rewinding back to Victorian times, with hundreds of homes built in the charming architectural style — the second highest concentration after San Francisco. Along with its vibrant cultural offerings — which include the historic Carroll Gallery and the Exit Zero Jazz Festival — the region is also widely known for its beaches and other natural wonders. This is a popular spot for fishing (it’s home to the East Coast’s second-largest fishing port) and birding (more than 400 species have been recorded here).
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Cape May
Like the rest of the Jersey Shore, Cape May’s liveliest season kicks off on Memorial Day with a Memorial Day Ceremony. The pleasant weather is accompanied by plenty of outdoor activities, such as the Independence Day Parade, Baby Parade (open to those ages 12 and younger), the MidAtlantic big game fishing tournament, and Rotary Park Concerts throughout the season. Cape May is known as one of the world’s best spots for birding in the autumn, with a fall festival dedicated to the peak migration. Though the temperatures drop as it nears December, the cozy Christmas spirit comes to life, with the decorated Victorian homes looking straight out of a storybook; Christmas Candlelight House Tours have been running here since 1973. The first few months of the year are the chilliest, but also mark a quiet time to take in the Cape.
