There is a bus stop within 5 minutes' walk away which will take you to Dulwich Hill station, Newtown and the City. Please note the train station is currently closed due to Metro upgrade. Expected opening late 2025. The property is not suitable for infants or children

Earlier this year, Marrickville was voted the 10th coolest neighbourhood in the world by Time Out. And this would be the coolest pad in that neighbourhood. It's a big space on the first floor of an old warehouse. Downstairs is a working art studio - The Bakehouse Studio Marrickville run by Lisa Hoelzl. Everything is great except the difficulty to enter the car park / the property when the key / remote control was in residential car park on the check in date. It took us about 2 hours to figure out how to get in the car park without the key. We ended up with following others when they drove in while the door was still open. There was no such direction on guide introduction, which caused us a lot of hassles. We rang the host number a few times, and were told just follow the guide. Hope the host update her direction and clarify the right way to enter the residential car park without the key/remote control/swipe.

Melina was an exceptional host — warm, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful throughout my stay. The place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and full of lovely little touches that made it feel like home. It’s also super convenient — just a 3-minute walk to the bus stop and about 7 minutes to the light rail and train station, which made getting around really easy. Communication was smooth, and Melina went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming and well-located stay. Thank you again, Melina!

Lea was very pleasant and welcoming. The property was quiet and private. The area in which it is located is very lovely. Access was easy and straight forward as per Lea's instructions. The amenities in the apartment were amazing and much appreciated especially after a long international flight. I would not hesitate to recommend Lea's property and would be happy to stay there again next time I'm in the area.

Had an excellent stay at Julia's place -- wonderful apartment in Canterbury, perfect for a solo traveler. Easy access to some nice cafes + restaurants and public transit. The place was incredibly tidy and the balcony has a lovely view at sunrise/susnset. :) Julia was a friendly and responsive host. Would happily stay again!

David is a great host, very caring and tried his best to accommodate to my needs in checking in and checking out so I don’t have to go to the airport 6 hours ahead. He helped me carried my 30kg suitcase all the way to the third floor! I enjoyed talking with David and loved seeing his music workshop and listening to his music! Will definitely stay at David’s apartment again if I visit Sydney another time!
