It has easy access to restaurants, supermarkets, shops and all amenities in this beautiful town. The host will be in order to provide information necessary to have an otherwise pleasant stay.

It is a quiet and very safe place, the beautiful boy very attentive , half a block from the famous 59th street, to eat , drink and a wonderful view of the walled area, I would stay there again

Great place to stay to visit Calakmul and Becan. Food in the area was better than I was expecting and the onsite restaurant was a nice bonus. Beautiful peaceful spot.

The Puerta Hotel is in an extraordinary setting and location for visiting the archaeological zone of Calakmul. The "cabins" are very comfortable with the feeling of sleeping outside while being inside. The food is unpretentious but excellent. The price is exaggerated because it was the only comfortable hotel in Calakmul but with the arrival of the Mayan train and its magnificent hotel/restaurant/pool/bar… of 144 rooms 20 km away in the archaeological zone, the competition has arrived.

A spacious room features large arched windows offering expansive views of the surrounding greenery. Comfortable seating areas are provided, including a wooden coffee table and soft furnishings. A king-size bed is elegantly positioned in the background, creating a harmonious living space.

I highly recommend it, especially if you want a nice peacreful and relaxing getaway. We were expecting a very simple place but the place is absolutely beautiful! I also didn't expect to be greeted with a nice refreshing drink. I didn't know they had animals too which made the experience even better. you can tell the staff takes care of their animals and land. The staff is also very nice, respectful and professional. Definitely will be staying here again very soon.
