This basement apartment is attached to our house, but you’ll feel like you’re in your own unique space. You’ll be within walking distance to our cozy downtown Gillette Main Street! A 10 minute walk downtown will allow you to see our great local shops and restaurants. You’d also be a 5 minute drive to any grocery store, gas station and the interstate from our neighborhood.

The Carter house has a lot of charm and character. Gas lanterns adorn either side of the beautiful front door, upon entering you are greeted with elegance beginning with a crystal chandelier that drops through the ceiling from the cozy library upstairs. The main floor has a TV area with a big sectional, dining table, gas fireplace, full size kitchen, bathroom, laundry and kids bunk room. There are 3 bedrooms each room having its own private entrance.

This schoolhouse is newly remodeled to offer a peaceful retreat from normal life. Enjoy getting away from reality and enjoying the peace of the prairie, watching horses interact and being away from it all. We are on 70 acres out of town about 7 miles. It’s a perfect retreat and in September we will have added a loft with 6 twin beds making it the perfect hunting lodge.
