Beachfront vacation rentals in Camaguey

We had a great time at Lazaro’s place, it’s a very cute house. Yusneidy is an exelent host and cook. She helped us everyday to find the transport to the beach and she was always aware of our well-being and tranquility.

Very nice place in the quiet neighborhood 'la Concha'. It's very close to the sea, maybe 100 meters. The main beach of Santa Lucia is about 4kms away and can easily be reached by horse carriage, car or bicycle. Hortensia helped us to rent bicycles which made moving around Santa Lucia easier for us! Hortensia is very friendly, helpful and a great cook. Her English is also very good, which made communicating easier for us since our Spanish isn't very good.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Angel empfangen, die Casa ist sehr schön und liegt nur etwa 200 Meter vom Strand entfernt. Obwohl wir erst relativ spät angekommen sind hat Angel uns sehr spontan noch ein leckeres und reichhaltiges Abendessen zubereitet. Auch das Frühstück am nächsten Tag war super. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig, Angel hat uns aber Tips gegeben wo es eine Tankstelle sowie einen kleinen Straßenverkauf’s Stand gibt. Angel war sehr gastfreundlich und zuvorkommend.

Nous sommes arrivés de nuit et avons donc eu un peu de mal à trouver mais, quel accueil ! Une place pour la voiture, une très grande chambre avec réfrigérateur garni, une très belle salle de bain et une bonne pression d'eau. De plus, malgré l'heure, un -très- bon repas nous a été préparé au débotté et le petit déjeuner le lendemain a été tout autant à la hauteur. Petit bonheur supplémentaire : Du vin est proposé ! Dommage que cela ne fut qu'une étape nocturne pour nous ; Nous aurions bien aimé faire plus ample connaissance avec ce jeune couple attentionné. Merci.

Everything was very clean, well maintained room, new equipment (air conditioner, TV, refrigerator), always hot water. Nice terrace. Private. They helped me to the very beautiful Playa Boca beach, they helped me with transportation on arrival and departure. I recommend it.

Juan Carlos and Arelys are the perfect hosts and a beautiful couple! They are treating you as family and they are very helpful with any needs you may have. She is a perfect cooker too! He has a car and can drive you in different places at discount fares. The house is located in the small town of Playa Santa Lucia, in a very calm barrio and just few meters from the beach! (Not the best beach ever but the water is wow as well) The hotel area is reachable or in 40 min walking or by car, in 5 min. The rooms are very big, clean and lovely! They have air con and the house has the WiFi as well :) But the most important and the best thing are the owners.. I truly recommend to stay here! You won’t be disappointed for sure :) and they speak a bit of English too :)

It is too hard for us to praise Gardys Nelly & Gilberto enough for our stay - they really made us feel like family for the time we were there. The cooking was great and the time spent hanging out playing dominos and chilling in the hammock was so so nice. Gardys' cooking was so very lovely and needed (especially as we are both vegetarian) and Gilberto was great for arranging activities or whatever you needed. The place was very Cuban, a real Cuban home experience. The only things we feel need to be made aware is that given it is such a accurate Cuban experience, you might find you have noisy neighbours (might not, who knows) and there is no Wi-Fi at the property. We should re-iterate we really do appreciate all of our time spent here and will always remember it. You will not find kinder/more smiley hosts!
