Monthly Rentals in Caloura

The house was fantastic our family did not want to leave. We visited with our 3 married children. Our family had plenty of space. We had 3 cars and there was plenty of space for parking. We loved sitting outside in the evenings with the beautiful view. The sunroom and dining table was large. We cooked supper many nights in the house. The on-suite bathrooms were great for our married children , all of us having our own space. The outside space was large and we felt so private. You can walk to Bar Callaura. Could use a new toaster. The other suggestion is another remote to get in the gate and house key, we did not always leave at the same time. We appreciate being able to rent the house and plan to return in the future! Absolutely amazing place to stay, would recommend to anyone looking to stay on São Miguel! Property backs onto a lovely hillside with amazing views of the ocean to the other side. Only a short 10min walk to a nice beach with a restaurant. Great location if you’ve rented a car and plan on visiting all sides of the island. If you’re planning on using the washing machine - give yourself ample time as the climate was very humid and overcast when we visited (May), took days for items to fully dry! Thanks for the great stay!

Beautiful home in a quiet, peaceful location. Well-supplied kitchen, easy to use appliances. We had a fair amount of rain while we were there so we did not use the pool at all, but it was a lovely yard space with beautiful views.

Beautiful base for Sao Miguel We loved Erico‘s place which was comfortable, beautifully decorated and charming. It also was very well equipped with dishes, spices, generous towels und great beds. Parking on the steep street is a bit daunting to start with and there are barking dogs just like everywhere else on the island that break up the serenity but the place is a real haven and between walking to the beach and driving to the different corners of the island it’s in a great place too. Érico was a responsive generous host, from the welcome bread and milk to restaurant recommendations , thank you Erico, we would definitely come again
