Monthly Rentals in Calliope

This was a great place to stay to break a long distance trip. It was quite isolated which was just what we wanted. Loved walking around the large property and meeting the animals. Dawn’s extra touches of home made scones with home made jam & cream, home grown honey and wine were a lovely bonus. Thank you Dawn for your wonderful hospitality

My partner and I had a beautiful stay. Was very cosy and had everything we needed. Felt very comfortable. And you can’t fault the area with beautiful walks close by. Also loved their dog! Partner wanted to take him home

Brookes place was so relaxing, with country style decor and everything needed to meet your home comforts. It was a perfect place for me to unwind while I was travelling and had a really country feel yet wasn't too far from the main town. The fresh eggs were a nice bonus to cook a country breaky in the morning. I would recommend Brookes place to anyone travelling through that part of Queensland. Would be good for a short or long stay.

Having stayed in quite a few different places due to work, this was certainly one of the nicer stays. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Host gave very clear instructions which made checkin a breeze and even offered up some farm fresh eggs which were much appreciated for breakfast. Only minor fault was the surroundings, being located right next to a train line and main road. Aside from this, i would still highly recommend this stay to others wanting a home away from home.
