Staying in a coffee finca is original and the experience was up to par, especially combined with a guided tour. Great hosting, Wilson picked me up at the bus stop after explaining how to get there; the room was large and clean with bathroom area and everything you need for a night, and waking up to birdsong and views of the hills and coffee plantations around is very nice! Don't forget to bring food, especially if you don't have a car, as there is no village within walking distance! Cooking is available on-site. And providing a flashlight/headlamp can be very useful

It is a wonderful place, with a lot of tranquility and very beautiful, for me it was a total rest with a great view everywhere, total recommend and I guarantee that we will return with a total taste

We really enjoyed the stay. We celebrated a 40-year event and all the guests were very well received and comfortable in the facilities and the kindness of the people on the property. Great experience.

If you want to experience authentic Colombian countryside - this is the place for you! Absolutely amazing, stunning, breathtaking view over coffee and palm plantation from our Bamboongalow. 2 rustic bedrooms with a terrace hanging in the air with a jacuzzi, kitchenette, hammock, table and chairs. Breathtaking view from master bed. Bathroom also on the same terrace/platform. Very nice hostess. Organic tasty breakfast with fresh juice. Central house with a pool and jacuzzi with the other side of the mountain view. Friendly pets, kitten, doggies and chickens. Coffee is growing all around you and you can observe people working in the field - very interesting, if you've never seen this before! Bring mosquito spray (we did not use, but might come in handy). Steep hills/mountains with gravel road for the last 1 km (good driving skills and SUV 4WD are a must). Minimal walking up and down the hill. Come before dark to avoid waiting for sunrise to see the beautiful view!

We had a very pleasant week with Eduardo and his family at Villa Amparo. The site is absolutely beautiful. Very secluded, we came by bus from Bogota (11am) and left by bus to Medellin (4am). The place is ideal for hikes, horseback riding and being in peace. The nearest village, La Merced, is charming and very authentic, an hour's walk or 15 minutes by Jeep that you can book. The bedrooms and the bathroom are rustic but you spend your time outside so it's not inconvenient. The whole family took great care to ensure our stay went smoothly. It should be noted that meals must be prepared by Eduardo who offers local cuisine. We highly recommend this place to spend an authentic time in an exceptional setting.

We loved the house, especially the pool. The place is quiet, you breathe a lot of peace and above all they have a good coffee. some of the best I have tried. Diego was very kind always repsondia and solved our needs

Isolated and equipped with everything you need, it allows you to enjoy long days without worrying about returning to the city. The nights are unique, with clear skies that allow you to see constellations and enjoy unique moments of peace. It is a perfect space to relax, recharge and share with friends or family. My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful weekend at Marta’s home on a stunning mountainside with gorgeous views! We are so glad that we decided to make this our homebase and visit Jardin and the surrounding area for hikes, wandering town or for meals. Marta and family are lovely people and we felt so welcomed immediately. Staying at their finca, where they grow coffee and so many kinds of fruit, is a lovely way to learn more about Colombian culture. We balanced our time hanging out at the house and having some meals there with going into Jardín and hiking the area. It is worth knowing that Gustavo, Marta’s husband, is available to pick you up and bring you to/from town for a fee; he is an expert at navigating the steep and sometimes muddy road to their home. That in itself is a memorable adventure in his jeep from the 1950’s! We also got to practice our Spanish and their youngest daughter (who is was delightful) practiced her English with us. We can’t wait to return.

Gabriela is an excellent host, she was always attentive to us; the directions were clear, the attention and company was constant. Gabriela's dad attended us super well, Mr. knows a lot about the countryside and taught us how to milk, the coffee process, served as a guide to some beautiful waterfalls and was always attentive to all our needs. Watching the sunrise from the comfort of your bed was really beautiful 🤩 Thanks for the attention. God continues to bless you 🙏🏼

Usually I do not leave long reviews, but this place was my best Airbnb experience in 9 years ! There is so much to say, so I will try to focus on the most important. The place is pure paradise : not only beautiful but super well maintained. So many different areas to enjoy : the main house, the game area with the pool table facing an endless forest of trees, the forest, the pool area and its seating arrangements, .... The trees, the views and the mountains are from another world ! We like to walk around and every walk the dalmatians were following us for the trip !! Soooo cute ! Now the very unique part : Chef Jimena ! She is a shining star !! She is there at any moment of the day and evening (even late), cooking and preparing anything you want and all fresh and organic. Fruits , cocktails, whatever you want, she will do it on the spot. The meat on hot stones was terrific and a great experience. Thanks to Dario and William as well, always there to help. See you very very soon !

Johan is very attentive always attentive to us and the glamping is very clean, beautiful and the decoration magnificent, also the view of the beautiful mountains and the place is private and very quiet the delicious breakfast I recommend 100% and I will come back thanks Johan for everything

I stayed at Gabriel's finca for 4 days. It's such a lovely location nestled between forest, mountains, and coffee plantations. There are very few houses surrounding their place. If you're looking for a peaceful location where you want to focus on spending quality time, I heavily recommend this place :) Also every morning you get to be woken up by the sounds of the birds chirping.

This country house provides all amenities needed for a comfortable stay with comfortable bedrooms with baths and abundant open air space surrounded by nature. Perched on a hillside overlooking Jardin the views were constantly changing as clouds formed and floated by. A bumpy 10 minute drive to the beautiful city of Jardin where there are abundant offerings to satisfy any interest. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

La Finca la Cabaña is an ideal place for those who want to connect with the countryside , enjoy tranquility as a family but also to carry out outdoor activities, sunshine , nature interact with wild and farm animals. The ride offered by the hosts is excellent and there are options in different local landscapes that showcase the diversity of this beautiful region . I highlight the good service , warmth and generosity of the hosts of the La Cabaña estate, a place I would surely not hesitate to return to .

The stay at the glamping was wonderful, the food is delicious and Ana was super attentive because my travel companion had altitude sickness and she helped us with oxygen and tea. Everything was wonderful. Thank you very much. Highly recommended

We chose the Finca Altos de la Ermita as we needed a country site of traditional architecture surrounded by typical landscapes of the coffee axis to celebrate our daughter's wedding. We couldn't have been more pleased with our decision. The Altos de La Ermita estate is spectacular ! The landscapes seen from any angle are unique . The facilities are modern with great contrast to the gardens and the Guuua construction. But what elevates the estate experience to another level is Angie's great attention her housekeeper . Together with her husband Norbey and the incredible help of her great assistant Erika, they consented , cared for and reminded many of us who live outside of Colombia the true value of the human warmth of our people .

If only I had more than 1000 characters to write how amazing the family that welcomed me in their home since day 1. This is a perfect place and balance to get away from the busy city of Periera, and you get to learn soo much about the processes of coffee. The surrounding area of their property is all beautiful and natural. The family are just as beautiful as their surrounding area and are super attentive. The rooms are clean, spacious, and private, can hear the nature from your room and is very therapeutic, I couldn't ask for more. I found my place of peace, and for sure will be returning as soon as I can, I wish I could keep this place a secret but this place is HIGHLY Reccomended.

This has been, without a doubt, the top experience I’ve had in Colombia—and one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The views from the farm are absolutely breathtaking. Truly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever laid eyes on, and a view I’ll never forget. The family who runs the finca is beyond kind. Jaime & Ismelda welcomed me with such warmth that I felt like part of their family by the end of my stay. The farm itself is stunning—so peaceful, so well cared for, and full of charm. They offer several different lodging options of different flavors depending on what you’re looking for. If you go, the cabalgata (horseback riding) was wonderful. They also offer tours of the coffee farm, which I wish I had done! And the food? Absolutely delicious. Every meal was made with love. I loved the option to have home cooked meals ❤️ I will remember my stay forever. The peace & tranquility I felt was unmatched, absolutely magic.

Excellent attention, very good hosts, were flexible with check-in and check-out considering the availability of the place. Breakfast like at home, they put fries on the table for you to enjoy at no additional cost. The place is too quiet and the supremely comfortable bed. We would definitely come back…

It was a wonderful stay for both me and my family, a clean home and very quiet place.. I was able to do what I finally wanted that was to disconnect from the city and its hustle. Everything we needed was at hand and Angela and the administrator were always ready if you had any questions.
