Amazing stay for a group. There is so much to do on the property that you never have to leave. Some of the house is dated but take a look at the family photos inside and the nostalgia will hit you like a ton of bricks. We all said that it made us feel like we were at our grandmothers and made us feel right at home. Our group LOVED this place. We will definitely be back!

Shayla was an awesome host. The house was beautiful and had so much to do! It was super clean and everything was great! We were upset when we got there that the pool was unavailable but it wasn’t Shayla’s fault and she made sure to make sure we had the best experience possible. We can’t thank her enough!!! We had a fantabulous stay at Luis' home! We were in town for a concert, and that is one of the only times we left the house... other than to get food. Speaking of food -- ask Luis for restaurant recommendations. He knows what he's talking about. The pool is an absolute dream. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Easy access to what Lake Charles has to offer. Great backyard setting to hang out with family or friends. Big kitchen and living room.

My fiancé came here for his bachelor party. We picked the Airbnb because of it’s relatively close proximity to gambling at the casinos, and obviously for the wonderful outdoor space. The house was exactly as described and beautifully well kept! By far the best part about our trip was the host, Mr. Chris. We had a “hiccup” that was caused by someone in our group and Chris was very understanding about the whole ordeal. Overall, we would 100% recommend Chris and his beautiful home next time you are in Lake Charles! Great stay! Terrific price!

The house was a neat older house that had been updated enough to be very livable but still have charm. We experienced a couple of old house quirks that were addressed in a very timely manner. Rusty was a good host and we enjoyed our stay. Also the place was pet friendly which was great for us.

Very nice home right off freeway but in a quiet, well-kept neighborhood. Traveling alone with dogs felt safe and secure - would definitely stay there again!

Extremely clean and accommodating. Had extra pillows and blankets, laundry pods and coffee! Plenty of room for the kids to rest and relax between the rodeo performances at the Burton, which was just around the corner. Friendly and helpful hosts. We will be back!

Me and my husband experienced a wonderful stay at The Lea at Himount!! The house was beautiful, clean, and peaceful. The beds were extremely comfortable and the home was nice and spacious. The host Nicole was friendly and responded fast! 5 star stay all around!!

My young daughter had plenty of room to play freely, as did a friend’s two children who visited. The backyard is well-maintained and fully enclosed with a privacy fence, which provided peace of mind with the kids. It was also the perfect spot to enjoy a quiet morning on the porch with a cup of coffee from the thoughtfully stocked coffee bar. We absolutely loved it! Me and my husband booked this home to celebrate his birthday, and we were so pleased! Nikki made sure we had everything and was comfortable! The beds were comfortable and the master bathroom, was my FAVORITE part. I loved everything about the house, Nikki was an amazing host and so kind! We will definitely be booking from her again!

What a wonderful house and host! The house is beautiful and very well maintained and has everything you could possibly need/want. Our family grew up in Iowa and they all enjoyed visiting the house and reading the books/history /pictures and telling stories of the the owners and family. They have very fond memories. Demmick and Leatha were incredibly welcoming hosts, we had an issue at our previous Airbnb and they allowed us to check in very late at night with little notice. The property felt homey, and was very clean. Even with an unexpected snow storm they still managed to keep contact and make sure everything is sorted out smoothly. Would definitely recommend!
