Cabin vacation rentals in Calaveras Lake

My family and I stayed here for the weekend and absolutely loved it! The cabin has a nice riverfront view, and the pool and hot tub were easy to access and perfect for relaxing. The location is great—close to lots of restaurants and stores, which made everything super convenient. Overall, it was a peaceful and enjoyable stay. We’re definitely planning to come back again!

I can't say enough great things about Micky and Vicky. They were awesome from start to finish. The day before our stay we found out that the original cabin that we booked had been accidentally double booked. We had originally booked a two bedroom cabin for my wife and I and another couple. Micky and Vicky called us and said that, due to the double booking, they were going to put us in two other cabins. One for my wife and I and one for the other couple. When we arrived and saw that those two cabins were too small for us we called Micky and Vicky. Understanding our problem the quickly offered to trade with us. Micky and Vicky would stay in the small cabin, and they allowed us and our friends to stay in their private 3 bedroom residence. That's right. They allowed us to stay in their own private residence while they loaded up their animals and personal belongings to move to the small cabin during our entire stay. How's that for customer service. They were absolutely the best hosts ever.

Overall, enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as described, clean, and cozy. We could not find the neighborhood pool but the lake was nearby and we had a great time. The hot tub was a nice touch. The host was responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend it!!

Wow this was such a great lay out and space for the square footage. super clean and in short driving distance to many places (HEB, restaurants and Greune). Neel was super responsive and detailed in the arrival notes. Would stay again for sure!

We had a great stay! Everything was just as stated in the description..maybe better! The pool area is so nice, and the hot tub was perfect. We did encounter a few critters but I would say that's expected given the surroundings. Definitely make sure you wear sandals around the pool area .I almost stepped on a scorpion! We loved EVERYTHING about this place and would definitely come back and stay again.

This place was absolutely gorgeous! Hands down the best place I've stayed in a long time! Would have stayed here longer if time permitted;definitely coming back and bringing more friends. Furniture & amenities were quality and comfortable. AC was almost too cold, but it made the bed that much more comfortable. Pool on site was beautiful and we enjoyed the outdoor sitting area the most.

Easy check in. Nice private area. Host was very responsive. Rural area with animals next door. Great value. Quiet area was at the top of our list.

The love shack was perfect for a weekend away! We grilled, enjoyed the hot tub, relaxed by the fire ring and on the back porch with gorgeous views. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed, from fire wood for the fire ring to k cups for the coffee pot, and lots of clean towels. We came down for a motorcycle rally, and scenic rides, but this was such a perfect little cabin, that we will absolutely be back. The host was thorough with the instructions, and super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We were secluded but not too far from grocery stores or restaurants, they were just a little drive away. The bed was SO comfortable too, we both slept great! We had a wonderful time here at the love shack, and can’t wait to come back.

Karen was very sweet and easy to work with. The cabin location was the perfect distance to the chandelier wedding venue!! I would recommend this cabin to anyone!

Amazing host along with a wonderful stay away from home, very nice scenery and peaceful environment contributed to a wonderful weekend. I will definitely be booking again.

If you want a peaceful comfortable place to stay this place is for you. Your host is very helpful in answering your questions before and after you get there. I added a new restaurant in the log book because of the great healthy food options. HEB is also a great choice for food. We were quite busy on our stay here but, relaxing on the last day allowed us to gather with the grandkids to enjoy the donkeys and cows they had, so much fun 😁 Only feed them carrots and cut up apples. I was distressed to learn that a previous guest fed them cigar butts and they died. You will definitely enjoy the privacy and quiet and cleanliness and the attention of your host when needed. 5 Stars from me.

It’s a great choice for couples or small family.

This airbnb and this place by the water is the perfect getaway to unwind for our family of four. Beautiful and well kept, a cute and very clean cabin and hosts thought of every little thing their customers need. My boys loved all the games that were provided too. The outside looking through the lake/river was absolutely beautiful, they even have a hammock to relax. We truly enjoyed our stay in this property, we don't want to leave. Give this place a go if you want a relaxing weekend, nature and convenience.

WOW we travel a lot and out of all the air bnb’s that we have stayed at Wendy’s place was wonderful. We came to get away from a hard time at work this was the perfect place for that. The scenery was amazing and so calm. Very clean and well stocked. Thank you. 5 STRS for sure🌟

The pups and I had a great time. It’s beautiful and close to the water. We will be booking again next year in May for our yearly get away. It’s close and easy to get to. We love going to the beach but it’s a long drive. This is clean and perfect for a get away. Thank y’all so much.

I am reluctant to leave a review for this Airbnb but only because I want to gate-keep it so much. To find such a quiet tranquil place is always a rarity and to find one so close to all the creature comforts even more so. To be awoken by the sounds of the birds and the wind rushing through the live oaks is magical. Heidi has decorated her place with great finesse and care and you feel from the get go that this could be your own home. I cannot wait to be back there soon.

This was a great spot for a small family with a little kid! I am a huge outdoorsman so this fishing themed cabin made me feel at home. Really close access to river road and the kitchen was just perfect to make a small breakfast. It does get quite warm during the daytime, I would recommend maybe a larger fan than the one provided, but that’s me being overly critical as we enjoyed our time here. Overall, easy and affordable place especially if you’re just needing a place to rest your head. I’d take this over a hotel any day.

Great place to stay for floating the river. Close to good food as well.
