El Nido house is located in the heart of the Sierra Nevada lush mountain range, 30 minutes hike or 8 minutes (moto or car) ride above Minca in front of the vegetable garden of La Culebrera. It sits at 800 meters above sea level with breathtaking views over the mountains, Santa Marta and the Caribbean ocean. You'll hardly find such an ideal location in the area : the house stands at the crossroads of the village of Minca, the cacao farm La Candelaria, Mundo Nuevo hotel farm, treks pathway...

Welcome to La Casa Del Mono! We are a unique place :) Enjoy your own incredible wooden house in the middle of the jungle while having access to our incredible private viewpoint (2 min walk) where you can enjoy the most amazing sunsets. You will find binoculars in your house and hopefully you will be able to see the Monkeys, Toucans and many other birds! We are located only 10-15 minutes walk from Minca town, 15 minutes from Pozo Azul waterfalls and 10 minutes from the hidden waterfall.

Zaino entrance to Tayrona National Park, pharmacies, restaurants & bus stops are a 5-10 min walk. Breakfast & bike rentals available upon request.

You have the tranquility and privacy you want, and a 5-minute walk along the beach will take you to places to eat or drink whatever you want. In addition, we have a free day pass for guests to enjoy the pool at one of the hotels very close to the cabin.

We are 1 km from the entrance to Tayrona Park - Pueblito. The property has a parking space for cars.
