Azure Beach House Palm Cove

This house was everything that we needed for a peaceful trip away to FNQ. Our host, Cameron, was amazing at communicating and helping with local information, especially as the region was dealing with Cyclone Jasper and the aftermath prior to our visit. The pool served us well, good surrounds, peaceful and clean. We loved it so much that we are planning another trip at the end of the year.

WFH Rainforest: Entire Level

KavehRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is a magical tree house, made of wood, in the woods and comes with a host who is super friendly and at once also highly reliable and professional! I was touched when I needed a different pillow and an iron and they were purchased especially for me the next day! I stayed 5 weeks and wish I could have stayed longer. It was great having the entire downstairs: I could occasionally hear people upstairs, as there is no door in between, but it wasn't too loud and I could enjoy as much or as little community as I liked. The one difficulty was that a few items of clothing and a suede shoe developed mold on them in the wardrobe. This is a common problem in the tropics. The clothes just needed to be washed and the shoes were easily dealt with by wiping first with a paper towel and then a vinegar (provided) soaked cloth which kept it from reappearing. One biggest highlight are rock pools and rainforest hiking trails within a 5 minute walk. Nourishing way to start or spend the whole day.

Great stay. Lovely new house with plenty of room. Great that each bedroom had it's own large full en suite. Double walk in garage also great. Would recommend.
Tall palm trees frame a peaceful view, with lush greenery on either side of a winding pathway. In the distance, mountains are visible beneath a clear blue sky, creating a serene natural setting.

Happy Valley 4: Your Private Piece of Paradise!

If you’re after relaxing peace and quiet well it’s difficult to beat this one. The nicely kept in traditional European (Italian to be more precise) style house, sorry home, rests on a slight hillside surrounded by mountains and swimmable creeks. The only sounds come from nature, or from someone taking care of nature. Nothing’s missing inside, superbly equipped kitchen, enormous patio with fly-nets so dining out is no problem at all. We had breakfast and dinner and it’s hard to move away. Kirsten is a very careful host, quick to respond and listening to one’s requirements. A great place to stay, for us extra special as we were here for the New Year!
A spacious deck with a dining table overlooks the calm waters of Lake Tinaroo. Surrounding greenery includes native bushland and distant hills, enhancing the serene environment. The building features a distinctive roof and is supported by wooden poles, blending naturally with the landscape.

The Lake House @ Lake Tinaroo

We stayed at Loch's for 5 nights to celebrate my 40th fly fishing. Given very clear instructions how to get there, how to get in & even offered early check-in. First impressions, the surroundings and the house were a visual surprise, photos don't do it justice. The house itself was large, warm and fully equipped for 3 families, youngest being 2yrs. The surrounds were magical, real soul food. Would definitely recommend, and come again!

Tom and Petroula are amazing hosts. Both of them were super friendly and welcoming, we got along really well, having lots to talk about. They even invited me for Salsa, and wake boarding, which was a highlight of my trip to Australia. The house is very peaceful, being close to the forest and river. The bed is comfortable, bathroom clean and general living space very tidy. Highly recommend their place!
