The gite was great, it was very clean with plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen. The countryside location is lovely. It is conveniently located for visiting D day beaches and Bayeux and easy to get to Caen ferry port. Veronique and Thierry were very welcoming and quick to respond to any queries we had. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay and wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful place to stay in a lovely village just a short drive from Bayeux and the D-Day beaches. Spacious apartment, very well-equipped (with a great washer and dryer), and a super comfortable bed! But the best part of the stay was Marie-Pierre. Extremely helpful, brought us eggs, honey, homemade jam, and Pommeau. Provided restaurant recommendations and offered to book reservations for us. Resolved two minor issues very quickly and with a smile. Definitely a SUPER host.

We loved our week at this peaceful little house on the farm. Just bird song and the animals around us. A perfect retreat at the end of a busy day’s sightseeing. Whilst it is in a very quiet countryside location , it is very centrally placed for nearby Bayeux and the D Day beaches and airborne landing sites. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, but did not disturb us. Overall a marvellous spot to base ourselves for our Normandy visit, and we hope to return. Richard and Rachel
