Vacation rentals in Cabouco

If you go to Sao Miguel, STAY HERE! The views alone make it totally worth it. The house is absolutely stunning, The beds were so comfortable, snacks were left for us, the house is stocked with everything you could want in a home stay but most importantly the reception from Welcome Buddy and the house owner brought this house to perfection. We had some bad luck with flights being cancelled and had to forgo part of our trip. The hosts were accommodating to our new plans in the most generous way. It was my daughters 25th birthday and they arranged a party with a chef and decorations for the most gorgeous wonderful dinner from the highest rated chef on the island. The weather was a big bummer for us but having this house and these people here made up for all of the weather. The island (at least when we went) is very humid so bring clothes that dry quickly. We will return to this house when we go back to Sao Miguel.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Nélia‘s Unterkunft. Nélia hat uns herzlich empfangen und sogar eine Auswahl typischer Früchte und Produkte bereitgestellt. Auch mit Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants konnte sie uns helfen. Vielen Dank für alles, wir würden gerne wieder kommen. Andrea und Mark

We absolutely loved our stay at Ana’s place in Ribeira Grande. The moment we stepped inside, it felt like we had entered a garden oasis tucked away behind the quiet charm of a small town. The landscaping is stunning, bursting with wildflowers and greenery that surround the pool and modern architecture in the most serene way. The highlight, however, was Cookie—the sweetest calico cat who made our mornings extra special with surprise visits. She quickly became the heart of the place for us! The location was perfect for our daily surf sessions at Praia do Monte Verde, just a short drive away. After a day in the waves, it was pure joy to return to the peace and beauty of the house. Thank you, Ana, for creating such a magical and tranquil retreat. We can’t wait to return!

La estancia ha ido Genial. Tanto Natalia como su hijo nos han tratado de maravilla, han estado pendientes de nosotras y nos hicieron sentir como uno más de la familia. Nos hicieron muchísimas recomendaciones para visitar la isla. Además, fuimos a su restaurante a cenar en varias ocasiones y comimos genial. Las casa estaba súper limpia, con una terraza y fácil aparcamiento, ya que hay varios parkings al lado del alojamiento. En cuanto a la ubicación, me parece perfecta para desplazarse a cualquier puntos de las isla que se quiera visitar, hay lugares que están a 15minutos y otros como mucho a 40. Sin duda volvería. Gracias por hacernos sentir como en casa!🫂

A magical place! The view is epic. Better than the pictures. Ana greeted us with such warmth and energy from the start of the trip and text me a bunch of wonderful recommendations. The place itself is beyond gorgeous. Peaceful. Quiet. The bed was super comfortable and so wonderful to sleep in a King after weeks of doubles. The shower is dreamy. Walk to the natural pools. Drive 20 Minutes to Lagoa da Fogo and one of our favorite hot springs. This place was beyond dreamy and highly recommend!!! Locals in the area are warm and friendly. I can’t say enough about this place. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

What a lovely place. We couldn't have enjoyed it more. The constant sound of the ocean waves, the views from every window and the coziness of the decor. It was right on the ocean and on the city walking path. Several restaurants were within walking distance. Great access to the city, the beach and the freeway & only 10 min. from airport.

Casa há poucos metros do mar, apesar de não haver praia mas com uma vista 10/10, ainda melhor que o anúncio. Somente tivemos um incidente de alguém que possuía o código do locker de chaves tentar entrar na casa de madrugada, mas provavelmente foi um incidente isolado com as pessoas da limpeza que esqueceram os materiais na casa. O host foi comunicativo e gentil. O horário de check-in é muito tarde e o checkout muito cedo e isso acabou por atrapalhar nossa viagem um pouco, mas o lugar ainda sim vale a pena.

Sem dúvida um lugar a voltar na próxima visita aos Açores! Sentimos-nos em casa. Toda a atenção ao detalhe quando chegámos (visto que era o dia dos namorados tínhamos uma pequena surpresa à espera). A Sónia e o Sr.Pedro foram super atenciosos e sempre disponíveis para as nossas questões. Só temos a agradecer toda a hospitalidade ❤️
