Villa vacation rentals in Cabo Verde

During our trip, we stayed at several Airbnbs, but this one was undoubtedly the standout. Imagine living in a mansion at an incredibly affordable price! Its central location on the island makes it the perfect base for exploring all the attractions the island has to offer. One of the highlights was hiking Pico d'Antonia, conveniently situated right behind the house—a truly enjoyable experience. If we return to this area for another vacation, I wouldn't hesitate to book this place again!

Small 2-day getaway on the island of Maio with our 5 year old daughter. A driver was waiting for us when we arrived at the airport to drive us to the accommodation. We were then greeted by Pompeo, a super nice person, who explained to us the places, nearby restaurants to visit or go. The place was perfect, we were upgraded in a beautiful suite! We loved the decorations and amenities. We recommend this listing, everything was perfect, thank you.

Very nice beachfront house, quiet with just the sound of the waves. The residence's swimming pool is beautiful! We had breakfast every morning, delivered to our terrace. Ornella is always available and responsive, she has advised us and helped us many times! Thank you for everything

What a wonderful place Luciano has created! Beautiful spacious apartment with amazing views across the sea and bay, and easy walking along the beach to the village. And Palmeira - what a fabulous village (a true taste of the ‘real’ Cape Verde) really lovely people, and amazing fresh fish at the Rotterdam Restaurant. Luciano is a lovely host, gave local recommendations, sorted transfers from/to the airport (and even let me use his washing machine!) This was the third stay for our first trip to Cape Verde, and totally made it!! If you are looking for something different from the ‘All Inclusive’ and more touristy areas of Sal, then would absolutely recommend this place - it’s just gorgeous.

We (family with three children) spend the first days in Cabo Verde at the Baia beach and Antonio’s place is absolutely recommendable. Tidy and with everything you need. We really felt home and Antonio was always available and responsive. We recommend this place without any doubt. Just note that you should buy all groceries you need in Mindelo as Baia has only two operative restaurants and a very small shop where you only get the absolute necessary things.

A wonderful house, perfectly clean, nicely decorated and very well equipped, in a dreamy landscape (the terrace overlooks the ocean: during our 7-day stay we saw dolphins and a whale directly from the terrace). The very kind and efficient Ivania and Daniel were always there to help with everything we needed (meals, birthday cake, island tour, tips, stories about Maio and its locals). Patricia is always attentive and has helped us immensely, for example with transportation to and from Praia: huge thank you, Patricia, for the perfect hospitality! We will go back because the experience in Maio was fabulous!

We had a lovely time . The villa is in a good location in the resort , near to the beach. Transport into Santa Maria is good - either taxis for €5 or the hotel bus a couple of a day. We choose to eat out sometimes and cook for ourselves as there was a small supermarket 10 mins walk from the resort. Magdalena was responsive to messages and helpful. There were a few things that needed fixing in the villa which Magdalena agreed to fix. The villa is spacious and comfortable. The staff on the resort were friendly and helpful.

Francesca is a wonderful woman and her home is a reflection of her. Peaceful, unique, tranquil, and memorable. I had a great stay and will definitely be back. I am grateful to meet such a good person that welcomed me with open arms to her home. You wont regret booking this location.

We stayed with Francesca for 4 nights and it was a dream - the complex is beautiful, tasteful and well maintained. Francesca is loving and energetic and was the perfect host. She organized us a tour, transfers and restaurant visits to her favorite restaurants, making our vacation something very special. The beach with various beach bars is a few minutes away on foot, and you can also reach the city in ~10 minutes. Francesca has created a beautiful oasis on this great island and I would recommend anyone to stay here. Grazie per tutto, Francesca!

Very large and clean accommodation in a beautiful, small village. Highly recommend.

Great villa in ideal location. Had all the essentials although we didn’t cook! Hard to find food supplies in the local shops so we ate out. The beach is fabulous and a 2 minute walk from the villa but the hotel had the most uncomfortable sun beds ever so take an extra towel. No cushions on the sun beds at the villa (we were told they are for display only) One thing that would have helped was an info guide for stuff like bin collection, local restaurants and basic local information. All in all a great stay, and would definitely recommend this villa.

What to say except that it was our shot to The heart of our trip. First, the place is exceptional for an ultra affordable price. The luxury , the comfort , the quality of everything was amazing. Then the location is the best. Not too close or too far. Taxis are given (300 escudos in the evening) and therefore you are more than free. The situation is facing the sea with sunshine all day. The terrace is conducive to quiet sunbed days. Finally , the hosts , real humans , charming , helpful , just and above all welcoming with a big heart. We will go back with nostalgia and love thanks to them. Every morning we had the pleasure of having the military pass on the street in the footsteps and pushing the song. An honor for us to watch them every morning with the kids and prove our respect for these men and women dedicated to their country. Thank you to other hosts for following their routines.

Beautiful little house with a breathtaking view. The house and the bedrooms are spacious and pleasant. Kitchen is functional. Ornella is adorable and very available. The residence's swimming pool is amazing with a small children's pool. We had the breakfasts delivered on the terrace table, it was great. I highly recommend this listing if you come to Maio.

Great house, with cozy decor and good amenities. Peaceful location, away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Maria. With the Aluguer (collective taxi) you can get there quickly for €1.20/person. We were almost always the only ones on the beach and also the pool with sea water was never much going on. We had a relaxing time here! Toilet paper could be a little more and the chairs on the terrace are a little uncomfortable and broken. Otherwise everything is great!

A remote and peace full place with beautiful landscapes and walks in the mountains all around. Ideal for love trip and meditation. A house airy and cool. Anne Marie and Allison hyper attentives. Two little shops and a restaurant in the village. Thank u !
