Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Cabangan

Our stay with Happy Hut Retreat was great! Since we wanted to cook and prepare our own food. Kitchen is complete. Vibe was great. Was not expecting branded bathroom essentials and super lamig ng air conditioner KUDOS! Highly recommended for family and group travelers.

The place was spectacular! The instructions given were clear and helpful to find the place. There was a bit walk going down to the villas, but it was worth it! 💯 Host/ co-hosts were accommodating and friendly, quick to reply to my messages as well. Overall, would definitely come back 🥹

We stayed at this accommodation for three days and two nights, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. Nestled just steps away from the beach in a serene and quiet community, the setting offered a peaceful and private retreat that felt like a hidden gem. The house itself boasts a stunning view of the river and majestic mountains at the back, while the front opens up to an uninterrupted panorama of the sea. The home is thoughtfully equipped with all the dining and cooking wares you could need, making it incredibly convenient. All you need to bring are your ingredients, condiments to get cooking. This place is perfect for anyone seeking a serene escape close to nature without sacrificing comfort or convenience. However, do be cautious of the sea—the waves can get strong and might pull you away from the shore. It's something to keep in mind while enjoying the beauty of the ocean.

We had an incredible stay at Cactus and Tides! The villa was everything we hoped for—beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed. Photos don’t do it justice—it’s even better in person. The outdoor patio by the dipping pool became our favorite spot to unwind. Ate Arlyn and the staff were amazing—super helpful, attentive, and respectful of our privacy. Everything about the stay felt thoughtful and intentional. Even my 2-year-old nephew had the best time running around and enjoying the open space. Surprisingly, the absence of a TV was something we really appreciated—it allowed us to be more present, connect, and just enjoy the moment. The bathrooms being outside but still within the villa worked surprisingly well, especially after swimming. Less sand inside! A small extra bathroom would be a nice addition for quick access (especially kids or elderly guests who need to go urgently). Overall, everything was perfect. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to be back.

The Host and the Care Taker are really responsive. They Place feels like home. Flexible check in and out is available on less busy days. Thank you for allowing us to take a shower even after check out time

18MAY2025 - I celebrated my 37th birthday here with my family and a close friend. Honestly, I kept my expectations low to avoid any disappointment — but I was pleasantly surprised. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the caretaker, who was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and took the time to walk us through the place. It really set the tone for our stay. The area was peaceful, clean, and exactly what we needed. As someone who's visited different parts of Zambales more than 30 times — from San Felipe, Palauig, Iba, San Antonio, Botolan, Nagsasa, Anawangin, and various areas in Cabangan — I can confidently say this place stands out. In fact, it rivals the beauty and serenity of Nagsasa. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax, unwind, and enjoy a peaceful escape by the sea. - Kip Alvaro

The Nook is a very lovely place. We arrived very late at night but the caretaker (Mang Boyet) was ready, waiting for us still. It’s a very relaxing place and Anton was very friendly and accommodating. Wifi is strong so that’s a plus for us so were able to do our regular zoom at night. Thanks be to God through Christ!

We had a great stay! Location is perfect, right in the beach and is very peaceful. Sunset is Superb!! We came unprepared to cook, thinking we’d just eat out like we usually do on trips, but there weren’t any restaurants nearby. Luckily, the hosts were super accommodating—gave us tips on where to get food, lent us utensils, and were always easy to talk to. Kuya Ipe even offered us fresh fish he caught himself the next morning! The hospitality made all the difference. Would definitely return!

Kuya is very helpful, he sent instructions to the place that was easy to follow. Place is near sari sari-store and coffee shop. Walkable to the beach. There was some brown out but the place had a generator. Signal is weak but there is available wifi.

Carina was very responsive to my queries which makes her a good host. The place is exactly what I saw in the airbnb website. Only I didn’t expect that it is a condo unit style with with 3 bedrooms, balcony, sala and kitchen. I thought its a single-detached house. We are group of 9 adults. Stayed here for overnight as our company outing. Over all the place is nice, with the beach infront. We had fun. The view is amazing. I totally recommend this place.

The place was so nice, much better than those in the pictures. Aircon was super cold. Ms. Julieta and her staff were super accomodating and made sure we felt at home. We loved the swimming pool which was warm and my kids swam the entire stay. Overall venue is 10 stars for us. thank you Ms Julieta and we are looking forward to visit you again.

Sam and Bibe are the most wonderful hosts we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. They're very proactive with all the info we needed, and are easy to reach and talk to as well. We also needed their help a couple times during our stay and they did not let us down. The stay was peaceful and the 10-minute walk from the accommodations to the beach was a breeze, the walk inside the Riverside/Riverback compound was therapeutic. Book the Acacia hut if you want a quiet place, perfect for unwinding, meditation, and deep conversations. The only downside to our stay was that the river fauna was in full bloom in the summer, but you can't really complain because that's how nature works! We also tried their tapsilog for breakfast, which you can pre-order from them and it was one of the best decisions we made during our trip! Overall a really beautiful place run by amazing hosts. We'll definitely add this to our top considerations for when we just want to relax!

The place was spacious. Easy access to the beach as well. The staffs were so kind and approachable. We had a great time! affordable place and less crowded

The place is secured with fence. Walking distance to the restaurant and beach. Refreshing ambiance and highly recommended especially to a fur mom like me.
