The sabbatical house

Set in a coffee lot by a unique wetland area, this home is about twenty minutes away from Antigua. Still, it feels a world away. You'll spend peaceful days in the lush gardens and walk to the Mayan towns of San Antonio and Santa Catarina Barahona. Should you like, you can also get to know the kids who visit the "Caldo de Piedra" library next door. (Proceeds go to support it.) The place is excellent for a good rest and to enjoy the peace of nature. It is very complete and everything is very clean and tidy. It has a natural pool, the water is quite cold but after a while of being there, you get used to it and the experience is very pleasant. Many thanks to Guillermo for being attentive to everything, from arrival, during the stay and departure as well. We would definitely go back to this place.
