Vacation rentals in Caballococha

We had an amazing stay at Elios hostal. The entire family was very welcoming and the rooms were made nicely so we felt quite at home after a short time. The place is a bit remote for people who want to do their own things. The village is only reachable by boat which has to be reserved before which can be done by Elios. It is advised to bring rubber boots. To reach the house it's necessary as most of the ways are muddy and wet. Elios has a few boots but best is to bring your own. Elios wife prepares food for breakfast (included in the price), lunch and dinner. It is local food with fruits, veggies, juices, and fish or chicken. As a vegan they prepared vegan food which was basically the same food as the others but without the meat/fish. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. One of us was sick and they provided extra tea and soup and were very caring. Their daughter speaks English which can be very helpful because they speak otherwise only Spanish. Thanks for the great time!

This is the best place you can choose to visit the Amazon. ❤️ After comparing all the places in the area, we chose to stay here. Everything was better than we thought: The place is beautiful, quiet, surrounded by nature, you feel at peace! The space is very comfortable, the room is very nice, very clean, we had a private bathroom, a terrace with hammocks to rest and listen to nature while drinking coffee that Elizabeth always had available, in the afternoon a family of monkeys arrives in the trees in front of the house. Leo and Elizabeth are wonderful human beings who make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Elizabeth cooks delicious food and welcomed us as if we were her children. Leo will tell you what there is to do in the area and if you can, go on excursions with him - he knows the jungle and the animals very well, but he also knows how to understand what you like and will personalize the excursion to make it unforgettable. A magical place that we will carry in our hearts, thank you!

GREAT! An experience that goes beyond the home. Where you have the opportunity to share with a wonderful community, willing to teach their ancestral traditions. Perfect place if you want to stay for several days and have unforgettable experiences. Eliosnay and his family are always attentive to any requirements you may have. We travel as a family, our children felt very comfortable and excited. The accommodation has everything you need to have a safe and pleasant stay. Traditional food with a gourmet touch without neglecting home love. You hear the sounds of the jungle, you observe fruit trees and you can eat from them, there are caños and trails. All very safe and much better than shown in the pictures. It is a community of artisans and Eliosnay has several very enriching and exciting tours and experiences. Very, very, highly recommended! We will definitely be back to enjoy more time.

What an amazing hotel! I highly recommend!!! Communication was amazing prior to our arrival. They had someone waiting for us at the airport. We purchased activities for our trip at the Biohitel reception in Leticia, but this can be done at the hotel too. We took a 45 boat ride from Leticia to the hotel. The hotel is very nice (probably the best in the entire are). The rooms were very clean and modern for the Amazon. There is a fan in each room, plus there is spotty wifi by reception if you’d like to make an Media post/text people once you get back to the hotel. The food was decent given the location of the hotel (no stores around for miles and everything is brought in by boat), but the food gets repetitive quickly. The trips planned are so much fund, but cost extra per day. We spent roughly $75 USD per person out daily excursions. We found this to be well worth the price. Keep in mind staff doesn’t speak much English, so download a translator app so you can talk without internet
