Thompson Cottage

Our sweet little cottage has recently been updated with laminate floors, new trim, doors, butcher block counter tops and back splash. Enjoy a fresh cup of coffee from the Keurig in the morning and snuggle up on the large sectional with a movie in the evening. All of our bedding is cotton and the queen bed has a memory foam topper on it. Recently built fence separates the yard for privacy. Lots of love went into creating this cozy, happy place for guests to stay.

Downtown Mount Vernon Hideaway. Riverclay Studio!

Riverclay Studio is hidden away in the alley just a few steps from the Skagit River. Edgewater Park and many popular restaurants, pubs, espresso and entertainment opportunities are within walking distance. It is reached by way of stairs from the back of the original Riverclay Studio which we once ran as a pottery and gallery and was once our home. Our address is also home to Skagit Valley Larder that operates in the downstairs level of the building.

The Granary is a recently converted 110 year old grain shed (remodeled Summer 2020). It features a full kitchen, vaulted ceilings, bedroom loft and beautiful .75 bath. Located on the West side of Mount Vernon, it is minutes from I-5, yet situated on a 40-acres of farmland, next to an original barn and behind the main farmhouse. Good WiFi for work, ramp access and a ground-level hide-a-bed. Large West-facing deck and hot tub to enjoy sunsets.
