Family-friendly vacation rentals in Buna River

Gorgeous and relaxing space in a location poised perfectly & walkably between Old Town, beaches, and viewpoints (where else can you chill in a jacuzzi while looking at an island cursed by Benedictine monks, 100/10). Welcoming and responsive host, friendly neighborhood kitties, can’t recommend more.

This place is like a time capsule 100 years back. Set right on the beach, amazing property with great views of the sea. Would definitely stay here again. Only problem was that WiFi was not working as internet lines were down and our phone reception was minimal too, so we had hard time connecting with friends/family or even things like streaming music and planning our trips to surrounding towns. The host is great and very responsive.

Neven was an incredible host, who met us at the property and gave us a tour. We even had some snacks waiting for us (very much needed after our flight!) Prior to the visit Neven had sent an array of information detailing restaurant recommendations and places to visit, this was very useful when planning our stay. Among the cleanliness of the property and location one the highlights was the amazing sculptures at the property and the stories behind them. We came to celebrate my Husband's 40th and would absolutely come back. Neven is a credit to AirBnB hosting and we truly wish him all the best 😊.

Das kleine Apartment ist sehr schön gelegen zwischen Cavtat und Dubrovnik, beides super mit dem Bus zu erreichen. Auch Mlini und Srebreno sind mindestens einen Besuch wert und zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Umgebung ist perfekt - ruhig und gut angebunden. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht, da das Apartment neuer und modernen eingerichtet ist, als auf den Bildern. Alles, was man braucht ist da, die Aussicht vom Balkon ist ein Traum, der Pool super sauber und quasi direkt vor der Haustür. Die Gastgeber sind zu jeder Zeit erreichbar und reagieren sehr schnell. Wir wurden vom Flughafen abgeholt und auch mitten in den Nacht wieder hingefahren - vielen Dank! Wir können es sehr empfehlen!

Maria is the best…. From helping me carry luggage for my mom and aunts … to opening her fridge to my groceries even before check in. Arranging cabs …. She was absolutely marvelous. The apartment the views the furniture linen and amenities everything is beyond awesome. I cannot wait to go stay there again. Such nice helpful and genuine hosts. They will make you feel so welcomed and loved. God bless them

We had a very pleasant stay at Mario’s property. The location was excellent especially if you are looking for a boat pickup for any activity. The place is very well kept and maintained. The highlight was the Jacuzzi by the river, which was one of a kind experience. Mario and his wife were excellent host and communication was spot on. We loved the property and would love to come back.

Kuca Mala was the perfect accommodation for my family of four during our three days in Dubrovnik. We rate it highly for cleanliness, location, appointments with all the necessities and outdoor space. The photos are accurate and we were not disappointed in any way with the unit. Ivana was very responsive and timely as a communicator and even assisted us by arranging a transfer from the airport. Luksa met us at the curb upon arrival and allowed us to store our luggage while the unit was being cleaned. We would definitely stay at Kuca Mala again and recommend it to others without hesitation.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Tanja. Le logement était propre et au calme. La vue est juste magnifique. Tanja a toujours été très réactive et de bon conseil. Nous avons eu un souci à l'aéroport avec la location de la voiture elle nous a aidé avec son voisin à trouver une solution. Et elle a eu la gentillesse de nous déposer à l' aéroport. Je conseille de louer son appartement

Truly exceptional stay — the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever been in! This place was absolutely spotless — everything was pristine and felt so fresh and welcoming. It’s beautifully designed, very spacious, and filled with calming, positive energy. The views of the sea and old town were breathtaking. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, always available when we needed anything. They also provided thoughtful touches like toiletries, soaps, black coffee, and tea — such a nice surprise! The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, yet just a 5-minute walk to the heart of the old town. I can’t recommend this place enough and would absolutely stay here again. Vesna was extremely friendly and gave me instructions to find the place a few days before my stay. The town is peaceful and smaller, less busy compared to other towns I went to along the coast. A nice retreat for a one night stay. The bed was comfortable. The parking was extremely convenient and the beaches are walking distance. Vesna also allowed us to leave the car parked at her place after we check out, and we drove the car away before her next guests checked in.

Mirna and Marko’s place made me feel right at home. Located in an amazing location with all the amenities I needed. They even offered some local sweet candy! The beds were comfy and the space was just enough to be comfortable for three people. They left very clear instructions and their neighbors were very kind to offer help, as well. The balcony and local guide books were the cherries on top. :) ! Oh, and they offered early check-in and the ability to leave our luggage at the Airbnb after check out until our flight. I definitely recommend.

The apartment was beautiful and the location was private enough, but also close to evening. We really enjoyed it.

Wir hatten zwei schöne Tage in Herceg Novi, das Apartment hat alles, was man braucht. Man ist in 2 min am Meer und schnell im Ort. Gerne wieder!

We had a wonderful stay in Kotor in Renata’s apartment! It was so spacious and beautiful. The terrace was quiet and cute, perfect for a morning coffee or late night glass of wine. Renata was the perfect host; waiting for us till very late so she could be sure we’d find the entrance. She was also very helpful during our trip, helping us with anything we needed.

Rajko and Danijela were our hosts and they were fantastic. This place is way off the beaten path, which was exactly what we were expecting. We were bicycle touring and we spent two nights here as we rode amazing and lonely roads from Cetinje to Perast. We went for a couple of hikes and a nice tadpole loop on our bikes, from the farm. Breakfasts and dinners, prepared by our hosts, were excellent, plentiful and inexpensive. There was always enough at breakfast for us to make a lunch, too. The small farm aspect was very nice, there’s a giant garden, lots of animals, great architecture and ruins and lots of interesting artifacts and local items. We kept the wood stove going throughout the night - the bedroom upstairs was cozy and warm - there was plenty of wood, and the Rummicube game saw some action, too. This is a very peaceful place and the hosts are friendly, welcoming and available. Highly recommended!

Fortunate to have 11 nights in the Royal apartment. Suzana looked after us as Jadranka was away. Both though were responsive when needed assistance. As described in the listing with wonderful views across Lapad bay. There are 4 apartments in the complex along with the Hosts accommodation. Romantic apartment is at the top same level as pool area. Next down was the Royal, Harmony a few steps further down and Marine the lowest. All very private and didn’t hear any unnecessary noise from other guests. 61 steep steps from street to apartment door and the shower is in the hydro bath so a bit of a high step there. My wife was a bit hesitant as she has had a hip replacement couple of years ago but found a routine! Using the elevators at nearby More and Kompas hotels to get back from the promenade was a good handy hint! Amenities were good. Some instructions would be helpful especially using the appliances. Vi bodde hos Maja i nesten en uke og hadde et fantastisk opphold. Leiligheten var akkurat som beskrevet, veldig koselig og godt utstyrt. Maja var utrolig snill og hjelpsom – hun ga oss gode tips til hva vi burde se og gjøre i området, og fulgte opp underveis for å sikre at vi hadde det bra. Det gjorde virkelig hele opplevelsen enda bedre. Vi følte oss veldig velkomne og kan absolutt anbefale et opphold her!

Just spent 9 perfect nights at Aldos. Superb spacious apartment, spotlessly clean, had everything we could possibly need. Location was great, Cavtat is a beautiful place. Also helped us arrange a taxi transfer to pick us up when we landed and even took us back ro the airport at the end of our stay. We were really pleased withe nice touches in the apartment. He was very welcoming, even got used to the steep walk up from town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay and well worth a 5 star rating in every respect. Great hosts providing lots of local advice and recommendations. Fantastic location with uninterrupted views and beautiful sunsets. Apartment very clean and comfortable. Great addition is a wee honesty facility where some basic necessities can be purchased - including wine! Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed at the apartment for 7 nights and we had a fantastic holiday. Ivona and Michael were amazing hosts. Micheal recommend plenty of day trips, restaurants and sightseeing spots. Michael gave us a tour of the apartment and pool area and helped with anything we needed. Ivona was very responsive and helped us arrange our return transfers. We loved all of the little special touches in the apartment, felt like home away home. This apartment and the hosts exceeded our expectations. Location is perfect! Thank you!

The villa is a gem. The views are unbelievable, the peacefulness was amazing and there are not enough words for the amount of help Diana gave us. Diana waited for us with fruit, charcuterie board, drinks and home made pastry. She set up all the transportation we requested and gave us suggestions of things to do. She even brought us flour at 9:00 pm so we can make crepes. The only thing that you can’t do is walk to places. So, if you are a walker and want a lot of things to do all day, you might want to pick a different villa. We spent time enjoying the views and peacefulness and had time to go sightseeing.

This was an excellent stay and the family loved every part of it. It was also not far off from Dubrovnik city centre (approx 15 min drive) and the beach was also a walk away. Emily was really helpful responding to any of our queries and overall customer service was great :)
