Our newly renovated apartment will welcome you. In a nice area surrounded by open fields and close to the historical center of the village our apartment is the perfect place to start or end the day. If you are interested in hiking, there is the new hiking route "Eifelsteig" only 500m from the apartment. The bus station to reach Aachen´s city center is just a 2 min walk away. Of course families with kids and/or pets are welcome too. Free parking for 1 car and WiFi is included.

Our beautiful apartment (70 square meters) is quietly and idyllically located near the forest. To enjoy the picturesque Volcanic Eifel, hiking on the Eifelsteig (stages 7-8), the Krimi hiking trail, the rock and Celtic path and in the Lampertstal. The bike path network is right next to our house. You can rent bikes from us for a small fee. An 18-hole golf course is 3 km away. For swimming, there are: Freilinger & Kronenburger See, Freibad Gerolstein or the Maare.

The chalet with a unique panoramic view from each floor is located directly on the edge of the forest and field in the beautiful Volcanic Eifel, near Lake Kronenburg. It is located on the edge of a small idyllic vacation home settlement. The house was completely renovated and newly designed with a lot of love. Surrounded by many hiking trails and beautiful nature, it offers the ideal starting point discovering the beauty of the Eifel with its numerous sights.

Located directly at the national park gate, beautiful hikes (e.g. Eifelsteig, Wildnistrail) or enjoyable bike tours can be enjoyed from here. The Posthalterhof was built around 1683 as a postal station by Thurn and Taxis as a station between Cologne and Trier. In the middle of Blankenheim, less than 200 meters from the Ahrquelle, the Posthalterhof is one of the oldest buildings in Blankenheim. Located in the center of Blankenheim, right on the Eifelsteig and the Jacobsweg, it offers guests a place to stay, just as it did 300 years ago.
