There's no access to the downstairs. You can also relax on the front porch or back deck overlooking 9 wooded acres.

Greek Revival Farmhouse

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Pierce Farmhouse was built in 1870 as a wedding gift for a son. We have owned it for 20 years and have made another set of renovations to bring it back to its original charm and character while making it more comfortable with modern amenities. The farmhouse sits on 60 wooded acres in High Shoals and guests have access to our pond for fishing and river for canoeing. We are 20 minutes from Athens, and 15 minutes from Monroe and Madison.

From the oversized paintings that hung in the Salvatore and Lockwood mansions on the show, to the prop Mikaelson coffin we had reupholstered with red velvet and installed on the wall of our living room, when you stay at The Hideaway you feel less like a fan of the TVD universe and more like a character living in it.
