This Texas Hill Country gem is surrounded by Fredricksburg, Llano, Burnett and Marble Falls where you can spend the day antique shopping, and the evenings relaxing on your private deck. The cottage is around the corner from Fall Creek Winery, ride a bike over and picnic at one of Texas's finest winery. The cabin is quiet with two waterfalls and a fire pit for an evening under the stars. A "big" Scrabble Board in the garden for you to enjoy a quick game. Lake Buchanan is less than five minutes away by car. The lake is known for its abundance of Striper and Hybrid bass fishing. Feast on the best Barbeque in the world. Six state parks are within a thirty minute drive. Most are great for hiking, fishing and boating. The Llano River is just five minutes away and it is wonderful for kayaking and fishing. Enchanted Rock State Park is nationally known for its hiking and rock climbing and only a thirty minute drive. The house is situated in the most opptimum location for avid hunters that come to the area, Llano County is known as the Deer Capital of the world. Our neighborhood is very quiet...very safe. Say hello to our neighbors as they drive by (its far and few between).

This means no smoking anywhere-not even the beach. Pets are allowed ( dogs) if meet guidelines listed in "other details". ( I also have a guestroom in the house that is listed on Airbnb that sleeps 2 ) I will consider allowing 1 perhaps 2 dogs, MAKE SURE you read additional info in "Other Details" below..

When we were searching for a rental home for my husband’s birthday we had quite a few boxes to check. Scott’s home met and exceeded every one of those. The views were great, we didn’t want to leave! It was really close to Spider Mountain where we shredded the trails. The home was super cozy, very tidy, and felt warm. We had everything we needed and the handy binder inside was helpful!

Cecilia was a great hostess. The hostess with the "mostest." She was super responsive. The place was super clean. Very nice and quaint. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city (I live in Dallas) this is a great place to stay. Cecilia even put some snacks and ice in the fridge for us to take to the Spider Mountain Bike Park. They came in handy as it got a little hot in the afternoon. Will stay there again for sure. Thanks for being a great Hostess Cecilia!

This is an incredible place. Because we arrived late (after dark), we had some difficulty finding the exact location but Larry, the park host, was incredibly helpful and went all out to help us find the place and get settled in. The location is fantastic and a perfect place to chill and do nothing. There are activities (trails, biking, etc.) if you are interested. The park host was fantastic. I give this place my highest recommendation!

Great house and the view was amazing. There wasn’t anything close but to do unfortunately and due to the lake being so low, there was no real lake access in the area. The only close food place down the street was closed the whole time we were there. House offered a lot and was very comfortable. There wasn’t anything close construction going on across the street and next door that took away from the peacefulness but that is no fault to the owners. We enjoyed ourselves with what we had. It was nice to just getaway. The pool and pool house was a hit with my kids. Overall it was a nice stay.

Great place to stay, with plenty of room for the 6 of us! The kitchen was equipped with all the cooking utensils, anyone could need! Beds were comfy. We had a great stay!
