It is a short drive to beautiful Jærstrender and in the opposite direction to hiking areas on Høg-jæren. It is about 30 min by car or train to Stavanger city center. It is also about 20 min drive to Kongeparken.

Welcome to Fjordbris! Here you can get an overnight stay in the scenic area of Dirdal with an unforgettable view. With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. In 2023 and 2025, the farm shop was named Norway's best farm shop and is a small attraction in itself. Right next door you will find a sauna that can be booked with equally good views.

House near pulpitrock, amazing view. 1-6 persons

Charming old wooden house in a quiet area. Enjoy the great view over the fjord from the veranda, where you can see a beautiful sunset and enjoy the heat from the campfire. The house is well equipped in all rooms. The house is located only 7 km from the starting point of the Pulpit Rock trail. It is a 5 minutes drive from Jørpeland, wich is the town center in this area. From the house it is a 10 minutes drive to the ferrydock in Forsand, where there is ferry connection to Lysebotn.

If you want to experience Rogaland, Foss Eikeland in Sandnes is a good starting point for day trips to Preikestolen, Kjeragbolten, Jærstrender and Kongeparken, or a walk in nice hiking areas just outside the door. The apartment is new in 2020 and contains a living room, kitchen, bedroom with wardrobe and bathroom. There is both sleeping space and dining table space for four. The apartment has a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and stove as well as TV and wireless broadband.

Spacious, bright basement apartment with sleeping space for two or more if needed. We can put a double bed in the living room (an extra charge for more than 2 guests). Free parking, private entrance. Located in quiet residential area with no transit traffic. Short distance to Bryne, Sandnes and Stavanger city center. It is nice to cycle to the beaches to swim, surf or relax and maybe shop fresh vegetables from local gardeners. We have a bike available for loan😊.

Cozy apartment at a tiny farm - Vigrestad

Apartment at a small hobbyfarm in Vigrestad at Jæren. Beautifull beaches only a few km from our place. Within 1 hour by car you can reach the towns of Stavanger and Eigersund, or visit Månafossen and Kongeparken. It takes ca 1,5 hours by car to the parking at Preikestolen. Boathouse by the lake in Sokn, Stavanger

The boathouse is brand new and part of the seaside house environment towards Soknasundet. There is a jetty with fishing opportunities. Buildings and furniture are made by the renowned architect Espen Surnevik. If you come by boat there is plenty of room for the boat at the jetty. The boathouse is part of Sokn Gard (see fb) which has many animals you can visit, and the farm has 5 km of hiking trails.
