House vacation rentals in Brownsville

We loved staying here! It was nice and cozy, close to nearly everything from the beach, to restaurants and stores such as HEB and Walmart. It was a huge plus this place was also pet friendly, my dog loved it just as much as we did. They have pretty much everything you can think of to take to the beach which is super convenient. Love this place and will definitely be coming back!

Loveeed the ambiance. Rarely do Airbnbs look as fun as the pictures posted, but this location was probably better than the photos. Let alone the nice stay, the host was very communicative in the app and was very helpful. They went out of their way to retrieve a lost earring we left behind and set it aside for us. Very caring people. Would highly recommend.

The house is beautiful. To me, even more beautiful than in the photos. There were plenty of amenities which were exactly the way they were described. The host was responsive even at late hours. This location is walkable to many different restaurants and the beach, and many delicious restaurants are within a short drive from the location. Overall, a great space.

We have stay at a variety of homes at S. Padre for 30 years and this is our new favorite! We loved everything about it, clean, modern, close to beach, open concept which was great for our growing family. Jaclyn is the most responsible host that we have encountered so far! Our stay was wonderful, the view was beautiful. The house was extremely efficient for a family with children. The pool was warm and excellent size for a family of 7. Also, all the extra activities like the basketball court, mini golf and the room to play pool was a plus. AC works great and the owners were very friendly and helpful. In all, my family and I had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend it.

It was a very nice place. My family and I enjoyed our stay. The walk to the beach was only 2min not to far. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the beach since it had alot of tar balls washing up to the shore. But our stay at the house was great our kids and grand kids enjoyed the pool.

The place is spacious with a large kitchen, lots of countertops, big dining room table no clutter, and a bathroom downstairs. The bedrooms are all upstairs. The adult rooms are large and the master bedroom has a large bathroom and an additional room with a bunkbed for children and that was perfect for us. And the third bedroom accommodates four people. The house is just as a pictures show, quiet the view, is gorgeous, walking distance from everything. Interesting artwork♥️

Sonya’s place is fantastic and she is a responsive host. We felt right at home with her beautiful furnishings and amazing pool area. There is plenty of room for the family to spread out or to cook together and play games. We truly enjoyed our stay!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying here. From the moment I booked, communication was prompt, friendly, and helpful—check-in was smooth with clear instructions. The space was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and exactly as pictured—comfortable bed, cozy living area, and thoughtful touches that made me feel right at home. The amenities were excellent: the kitchen was well-equipped (perfect for breakfast and coffee), fast Wi‑Fi, and plenty of fresh towels. The location couldn’t be better—quiet, safe, and close to local shops/restaurants, yet easy to access downtown. Overall, this was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. I would stay again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to any future guests. Thank you for being such a considerate and attentive host!

Great location. Huge backyard for dogs to run around. Loved having access to garage for parking to help keep car cooler. We didn't have time to use but there were a good assortment of board and card games. Quiet neighborhood.

Pros and Cons: Pros: great space for our dogs (they loved it). Also well stocked overall--plates bowls cooking body soaps and shampoos if you need them etc. Plenty of extra towels sheets blankets. All the things others don’t put in their rentals. Cons: A tad humid and damp in the house. Could use a dehumidifier to make it more comfortable since it is an older place and struggles a bit when it’s really hot. A tad far from the closest anything. First gas station is minimum 15minutes and everything else is 7 minutes more at least. Beach with traffic is 30 minutes at best. And as a couple other reviewers mentioned: Please removed just a little bit of the decorations. It was hard to “see” our stuff and move around at times because there were just too many “things” around. We had trouble finding counter space to lay out what we wanted to use. Too many chairs also.
