Welcome to our old farmhouse, of which a part of the former stable has been transformed into an atmospheric B&B. Particularly furnished with a lot of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. You have a private entrance with cozy living room, bedroom and private shower/toilet. There is television, with Netflix and You Tube. AN EXTENSIVE BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. The b and b is located separately and closed off from the main house. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one b and b space.

The house where the farmer used to live with his family has been converted into a comfortable apartment with a spacious living room and open kitchen downstairs, overlooking the meadows and the terpkerk of Wanswert. The apartment is in personal style and fully furnished. Where possible, we used second chance furniture. Together with the piano and comfortable wood stove, a nice living climate is created. The apartment has a cozy private garden all around, a private front door and lots of privacy.

At the end of 2023, we converted our cozy B&B into an apartment that is equipped with all comforts. In beautiful Friesland, this beautiful house with great views is located. The Serre is a holiday home behind our house with a nice bright room which borders the large garden. In this garden also stay our dog, the goats (behind a fence) and the chickens and free-range ducks. Great nature reserves in this region invite you to hike and cycle. In addition, Leeuwarden and Dokkum are cozy cities nearby. The train station is a 10-minute walk from the house.

Bedandbreakfastwalden (wâlden is the Frisian word for forests) is located in the National landscape of Northern Frisian forests. Characteristic is the ‘smûke’ scenery with thousands of miles of elzensingels, dykswâlen (wood ramparts) and hundreds of pingos and pools. The area has unique flora and fauna. The biodiversity here is great. A short distance from Groningen, Leeuwarden, Dokkum and the Ydillian Wadden Islands.

The Swadde Cottage, sauna and hot tub (2 pers)

Welcome in this comfortable chalet, with much privacy, in our large woody garden. With a bedbox, pelletstove, large and nice porch with meadow view. Including made bed, towels, kitchen linen, coffee, tea, Wifi. Options for a fee and upon availability: bicycle rental, slow car charging, use of the shepherds hut sauna or Swedish hot tub (Størvatt without bubbles, not available in July-August).

Stadslogement, right in the centre of Dokkum,

In the middle of the historic center of Dokkum is the spacious and characteristic city logo area Kleindiep. The city logo is a spacious seven-person apartment (128 m2) which is located on the second, second and third floor of the property. It has a wonderful view of the city canal Kleindiep (turning point Elfstedentocht) and the historic town hall.
