Our cozy B&B located on the Spanjaardslaan. One of the most beautiful streets of Leeuwarden. In three minutes you walk through the Prinsentuin to the center of the historic city of Leeuwarden. The guest house is located behind the house from 1906 and has a private entrance, a living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms. The guesthouse is completely self-sufficient. Due to the combination with the cozy living room and kitchen, the guest house is ideal for a family or group of four friends.

Close to the city center of Leeuwarden is Woodpecker, a spacious and bright bungalow of 100 m². You have a private entrance and the Woodpecker has two spacious bedrooms, both with a private shower and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with all the basic comforts. The bungalow can accommodate up to 4 people. Woodpecker Leeuwarden can also be booked through its own site. We're entering the last season to start over somewhere else. The new residents have other plans

On the outskirts of Stiens, in the Steenslân district, we had a wooden outdoor residence built on our lot with its own jetty. The living room overlooks the water. In the summer ideal for paddle boarding, fishing, swimming or mooring with your boat. The water is connected to the Dokkumer Ee. In the other seasons, it remains lively on the water, there is always something to see. On weekends, we serve breakfast (for a fee), during the week only in consultation.

Cozy creek house with garden near the city center

Leeuwarden is 'by far' the prettiest city of the Netherlands! And it's only a 3 minutes walk to the city center. This 100 year old, cute house is located in the peaceful and quiet Vossenparkwijk. The 2 city parks Prinsentuin and Vossenpark are around the corner and you can almost see the famous Tower of the Oldenhove from the garden. Relax in the backyard with a cup of tea or go out for dinner in one of the very good restaurants in the city! Enjoy!

Unique mini studio in heart of downtown Leeuwarden.

This spot was perfect. My sister and I were here from Canada for the week to visit family and celebrate the 80th liberation. We had easy access to everything by stepping out the front door. The two separate bedrooms allowed us our privacy. The beds were super comfy. Loved the little terrace too. Marijke was very kind and helpful. If we’re ever back we would stay here again. Thanks, Marijke.

Idyllic cottage by the river

We were there for an extended period of time. The location is fantastic, you can sit right by the water in sunshine and enjoy a coffee and watch the ships. The dog also felt comfortable and was able to run around freely. The back of the garden is fenced. The neighborhood is very nice and very helpful. Apart from a pizzeria and a grill snack bar, there is unfortunately no way to eat and drink somewhere in the evening, unless you drive 10 km further, but since we had a bicycle with us, (there are also two available there) that was no problem for us and you can find out in advance what you want to do in the area, or what is offered. As Simone has already described for 1.90 m tall people, like we are, it was a challenge upstairs, but we knew that before, because it was in the listing. All in all, a beautiful cottage, rustically furnished and in the kitchen everything is available and a very nice hostess.

Spacious house, neat and easily accessible. In principle, everything you can think of is there. The owners also live there a few days a month, which makes them also have their belongings there, but in no way is that an annoyance or a downside in any way. Practically around the corner you have shops (from AH to Kruidvat) and you are also in the center of Leeuwarden in no time to shop. Contact is easy and fast. Very friendly and thoughtful in possibilities/wishes.

Goasse is a nice host, easy to communicate with. The kitchen with seating area is well equipped. At the table you have a fantastic view over the countryside. For the colder nights, there is even a small heater to make it even more pleasant. The neat spacious bathroom is between the kitchen and the bedroom. The bedroom has a very good bed, this is the nicest I slept on in an airb&B.
