Wake up as the light sweeps over the salt marshes, with the Ameland lighthouse on the horizon. This detached dike house on the Bildtdijk is intentionally without Wi-Fi and TV. A place to really slow down. Fire on, wine opened, outside just the wind and birds. Two bedrooms with Auping mattresses, a fully equipped kitchen, and a 680 m² private garden with a deck terrace. The sea dike is within walking distance. Holwerd (Ameland ferry) 20 minutes, Harlingen (Vlieland/Terschelling) 30 minutes.

Leeuwarden is 'by far' the prettiest city of the Netherlands! And it's only a 3 minutes walk to the city center. This 100 year old, cute house is located in the peaceful and quiet Vossenparkwijk. The 2 city parks Prinsentuin and Vossenpark are around the corner and you can almost see the famous Tower of the Oldenhove from the garden. Relax in the backyard with a cup of tea or go out for dinner in one of the very good restaurants in the city! Enjoy!

Lodging "Smederij Sterk" is located in the old city forge of J. Sterk. The monumental building dates from 1907 and is located in the middle of the city center, close to museums, restaurants, cozy shopping streets and the station. The accommodation has its own entrance, a living room with its own kitchen, a bedroom and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Do you want to stay in a quiet environment where nature plays the main role then this apartment is for you. We, Ate and Gerda are owners since 2016 and have made our farm in Jelsum completely sustainable.

In het weekend serveren wij (tegen betaling) een ontbijt, door de week alleen in overleg.
