This turreted hideaway forms the East Tower of a 15th century château - featured in a number of UK homes & interiors magazines. The tower is completely self-contained and its pretty, covered balcony offers breathtaking views over the château's truffle orchard. Internally it is full of character with a circular, beamed bedroom and roll top bath on the top floor and a sitting room below. There is no formal kitchen so this is a place for foodies wanting to experience local French food by eating out

The pavilion, independent of my house, overlooks the Loire. It's great for a couple's getaway. It is ideal as a base for exploring the roads and paths of the Loire, to visit the countless known castles or lesser-known residences that line it. You will never forget the sunrises over the Loire in the early morning in one of the most beautiful villages of the wild Loire (halfway between Angers and Saumur). It is now equipped with mosquito nets... Welcome!
