Vacation rentals with a kayak in Bremen

Great location. Woke up to the sounds of birds. very responsive. I would have given it a 5 star all the way, David was amazing and responded in a very timely manner. But, the turn over service could have been much better. The previous guest left a wine bottle in the automatic fridge ice dispenser and it was unfounded until my family found a large peice of glass in their drink, serious hazard to drink glass. Should have been spotted by the turn over service but, who would check the ice maker for a bottle a wine? I understand that. Very uncommon and unfortunate for us. David responded in a very fast manner and gave us options to accommodate the situation. I would have left a 5 star if this was the only thing but everything was so unorganized in the kitchen, they had everything but nothing made sense to why it was there. Sink didn't drain. There were also stains on the sheets and a pizza box left by the fridge that wasn't ours. Little things but the turn over service was a let down.

We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful and quiet time of rest at The Rising Tides. The setting is absolutely serene. It’s very secluded and quiet, the perfect place for a week of rest and relaxation. We went hiking on the Cliff Trail (15 minutes away and a very nice hiking trail), watched the sunrise at the Lands End store on Bailey island (15-20 minutes), and kayaked in the cove. The grill was very nice and we enjoyed cooking on it regularly. The place was very clean and ready on our arrival. The host communicated very clearly. You will need to follow her driving directions as they are very clear and helpful. In our four days there we only saw 1 neighbor - and that was as we were leaving on the weekend. There’s a grocery store only 15 minutes away and we were able to stock up on our way there. Really, this was one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed. We really enjoyed having a few options of things to do while also being able to just do nothing on our vacation in a quiet place.

We had an amazing time. TJ was very responsive and gave his secrets for fishing! He also accommodated a request that was an overlook on my part. I can’t say enough good things about the place itself or how nice TJ was. It was a phenomenal experience all around!

This was my 5th time going there and I love it! The house is so cozy & very clean. The property is large and the view is breathtaking over looking the river. They are also pet friendly so we were able to take our Lhasa Apso Revy on vacation with us. Besides how great this Air BnB is, my favorite is the hosts Kent & Tish! They are wonderful people. They are kind & friendly, & have such beautiful souls. They have become family to me! I highly recommend getting this air bnb!! Thank you again Tish & Kent! We had two nights to spend in Maine after a week long trip to Quebec. The lake house was a wonderful place to unwind after our busy trip to Canada. We spent our full day parked in the yard, enjoying the boats provided, reading, playing bags, and just sunning. It was a gorgeous day, and we loved it. The house is spacious, very well-stocked, and has many little amenities to make it feel like home. Highly recommend!

It was a great stay! The place was so spacious and peaceful. Brad was quick to respond and really helpful. If I were to come back here, I’d definitely stay here again. A great experience 10/10 recommend!

The accommodations were wonderful! Very well decorated, comfy beds and an amazing shower! There is a full kitchen with everything you would need! Ty is an amazing and super nice host! He provided fantastic recommendations for places to eat and things to do while visiting the area. Highly recommend!

This place has the best of what Maine offers. A ocean view with a pebbled beach on the front side with plenty of rocks and sea glass hunting and a quiet cove on the back that you can explore with the two supplied kayaks. The location is very inviting and the neighbors were friendly and gave us some great insight into the local area. There is plenty to do within an hour of the house from shopping, exploring other beaches or getting a taste of the local cuisine. If you like oysters we would recommend OystHERS in Bath. Our favorite beach was Popham where you can watch the harbor seals play at the mouth of the river. Overall this was a great family getaway and one that made lasting memories.

Anna was incredibly communicative and her place was clean, quiet, and exactly what we were looking for. We especially loved her two little greeter cats!

Hillary's home was so cozy, beautiful, and just overall a wonderful place to visit. Beds super comfortable. Kitchen had everything you need and more. The view of the lake was so beautiful. I could go on and on.... Hillary is so easy to get along with. Answers all questions and gives great advice of the area and things to do and see. Overall Fantastic! Christ's local convience store has everything!! Our stay was terrific.

Mark was awesome. The place was just what I needed to get away from the grind of life. I recommend him to any and everyone.

What an awesome airbnb! The views are stunning and surroundings couldn’t have been more peaceful. The cottage itself was exceptional and had everything I needed and more. Wish I could've stayed there longer! 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone!

Lori was a wonderful host for our trip up to Maine. My girlfriend and I enjoyed doing yoga in the entrance room when it rained and a nice sunrise kayak trip out on the lake across the street. My in-laws stayed with us too and we all had great laughs together and enjoyed good food all weekend long.

This cabin was very comfortable with great amenities (cooking ware, laundry). The beds and linens were very clean and quite comfortable. We were each given two fresh white towels. The cabin is on a dead end street surrounded by A-frames and little cabins, pretty close together, but no so much thst it felt crowded. Its licated across the street from a lake. There is lake access about 5 houses down - a few minutes walk - down the road. We stayed in May and it was very quiet at night. Mostly, we saw no one, (being somewhat pre-season). But we met one neighbor on a walk who was very friendly and took a moment to say hello and pet put dogs. The local grounds were clean.

Two things stood out to us: Tim and Melissa were fantastic hosts. Responsive, flexible, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. If anything, they kind of undersell the lakeshore. Beautiful, peaceful, and a large area. We were here too early in the season to take full advantage, but this must be heaven in the summer. Hope to come back during kayaking season.

What a beautiful location! David is a great host. He made sure we had good directions, tips for the area, and was quick to answer any questions. The lakeside cabin has absolutely everything you need to have a peaceful, relaxing vacation. The view of the lake is spectacular. The cabin is very clean, has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and Echo lake is a gorgeous pristine lake. Every morning, we enjoyed our coffee on the dock. We swam, kayaked, canoed and even tried out the paddle boards that came with the house. We would love to come back! Thanks!

We stayed here to be near Bates college for graduation weekend. We felt right at home! The cabin was warm and inviting... cozy, clean and safe! It was so secluded, with a gorgeous view over the water. We would love to return when we can simply stay in the cabin and enjoy the peace and quiet.

We had a great stay at Leah's cabin. The place was warm and cozy, and we enjoyed the lookout onto the beautiful frozen lake. Leah was very proactive and responsive. A great stay!

This was our second time staying here. We love the beautiful and peaceful setting. Lots to do in the surrounding areas but also we love relaxing at the house by just sitting on the dock with a good book or kayaking/fishing in Hobbs Pond.

Bonnie’s place was amazing per usual! Will definitely be coming back again for more time on the lake. I highly recommend to anyone coming to this area!

I can absolutely, highly recommend David. Literally the only issue was that we wished the dock was out on the water. But everything else was perfect,and we just saw that as a minor inconvenience. It was beautiful, very clean, nicely decorated, beautiful scenery and kayaking available. The fishing was great, as we caught quite a few for dinner☺️ David was a perfect host and was available any time we had a question. He is very polite and courteous, and frankly fun to talk with. 😊

Truly a lovely stay. Cozy, clean, well-equipped (and well-built!) space, with a breathtaking view of the Bay from the big deck. We walked down the hill to the beach many times in the two days we were there, and our hosts were remarkably responsive & helped us with the kayaks and canoe, and even an extra life vest :). And while we were at the beach—a gorgeous rocky point with bench & chair & picnic table, and sandy/pebble shore, and stunning views of the entire bay and beyond—we were the only people there (and strong recommendation for sitting out during the morning fog and watching it slowly clear away to reveal the majestic bay!). They even hooked us up with a coffee grinder when we asked! A great place, and wish we’d stayed longer..

The house is clean, the bed was comfortable, the location was amazing. We were not ready to leave the island. We found so many hidden beautiful places on the island and saw the most amazing sunset, explored tide pools and saw so many deer. We hiked every day and every place had something different to offer.
