The place was incredibly beautiful next to the sea and hiking up the mountain started almost at the house. The hike was simple and stunningly beautiful where almost the whole tour went above the tree line with incredible 360 degree view. The WC and shower are in the apartment although there were no pictures of this. The road to the area was incredibly beautiful, a bit narrow at the end, but there was some traffic so no problem because the road ends just outside the house. No restaurants or shops in walking distance, a small shop 12 min by car. But this made it feel incredibly quiet and peaceful.

Staying at this cabin was like stepping into a fairy tale! Nestled deep in the woods and right next to a stunning fjord, the location is absolutely magical. The cabin itself is cozy and full of charm, with all the comforts you could need while still feeling like a true retreat into nature. Waking up to the serene surroundings and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to escape into a beautiful, storybook setting!

When I was there, there was no one else in the building and it was very peaceful and quiet. I enjoyed a little walk to watch the sea and greet the gracing sheep. Both Kari and Knut were very kind and welcoming and told me a lot about the history of the place. I wanted to enjoy my breakfast at the patio overlooking the sea, but it was too windy. It’s amazing to stay in such an old building. Loved my very short stay here.

We had some unforgettable days here. Unfortunately, the weather gods weren't on our side (we just got a week of rain and storm forecasts) so we didn't get to fish and experience nature as we had planned. But the cabin was a nice and good place to stay. The sea view is amazing with a lot of varied life and movement. The boat and boat spot were good and Frode showed us what we needed and was also with us to put out crabs that we got a lot of crabs in. We also got out on Geitholmen and fished nice lyr. We would recommend both the hosts and the place for those who want a pleasant stay in the sea gap.

Absolutely wonderful, well equiped location. Cozy, comfortable beds, I definitely recommend for a getaway from busy life!

This farmhouse just breathes history ❤️ super cosy and a spectacular view! Sitting in the garden with this view, you forget about everything else for a little while. Anne Marie is also very helpful en super friendly! We were lucky enough to have apples and plums in the orchard ripe for picking, the kids loved picking apples and eating plums fresh from the tree.

We really enjoyed our time on the island of Silda. If you are looking for peace, you will find it there. Gunhild always responded immediately and gave us helpful tips. It is easy to get to the island by boat and walk to the house. We can highly recommend a break on the island.

What a place! The house is very functional and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The rooms are large and bright, and the furnishings are successful, with large and good beds, and cozy seating groups. There was no TV and there was limited internet, but for us it was hassle free. The view is lovely. The location is brilliant with shop just across the road, large playground and football field just a few hundred meters away. In front of the house it is free of neighbors; just nature plot, boathouse and a path down to a nice little sandy beach a few meters from the house wall! We went for a trip to Kalvåg, but spent the most time on the close, amazing beach Grotlesanden, and on the sandy beach right by the house. We would have liked to have stayed longer and had time to see the petroglyphs on the Vingen field, and visited the day trip cabin Dosabu, but this time we were just overwhelmed by the proximity to such great beaches. Keybox made check in flexible and easy. The place is really recommendable and we would love to come again!

This house really has a fantastic location, we enjoyed the beautiful view and the sound of the waves very much. I'd like to go back immediately! :-)

Great place by the sea but also close to Nordfjord/beautiful west Norway fjord area. Tiny village (just a few houses) at the end of the bay, feels like at the end of the world:) House is very nice inside, equiped with everything you might need. There is own boat with a motor too. We went for the sea-fishing with that boat and caught a lot of big fish, some as long as 70cm. We also caught numbers of crabs into crab-pits that are to be found in one of the boathouses. So even without visiting the store we had plenty of things to eat in Berle:) You can also take a mountain walk to Hornelen, the highest cliff in Europe directly from the house. We did it (quite challenging walk, especially for our 12th year old daughter), and the view was amazing. Overall - if you feel like experiencing Scandinavian vacation - this is definitely a great place to do so.

Great place, relaxing, access to boat and fishing. The cabin is nicely located right by the sea, quiet and calm area. Walking distance(6-7 min.) to the convenience store.

We felt very comfortable with Turid! She welcomed us very kindly and warmly. The place was very cozy and had all you need for a few days. The location with waterfront access and sunsets was great! We'd come back any time!

Magne is patient and it is folded upon our arrival earlier than expected. he can rent you canoes or a boat. for isolation you are served. i recommend only attention point it is really an old hunter house. but it is clearly reported and for us it was excellent. thank you to Magne.

We had four wonderful days (three nights) at the "bakery" with Harald. This is the separate little house above the main house. Absolutely quiet, cozy, sparkling clean, warm, nostalgic, authentic. Kitchen with good equipment and new induction stove, in the basement the large oven, a fireplace and the bathroom with washing machine. Everything is there and from all rooms a view of the water. Harald greeted us personally and showed us everything in the grounds. The boathouse for festivals, the land trade. Everything from his grandfather and has been family-owned ever since. Many come here for fishing, we were to relax and paddle. Jetty, courtyard, everything we could use. There are several apartments or the cottage "Bäckerei". Some of the apartments can also be connected. The photos show all homes, ask, Harald responds quickly and describes what is free. Thank you Harald for great Norway days in your trading city.
