it's my second time staying at Rib and Wanda's place. It's very a sweet spot, all the amenities and the convenience of the location is top notch. will definitely go back

This spot is one of the best places to stay in nova scotia. It was super private and serene. The scenery was lovely and we loved hearing the birds chirping away. The Tusket river is great for a paddle and the property is close to Yarmouth and surrounding areas. Barrie and Sandra are lovely people with great recommendations, they even had a few gems for us to stop and see along our route home. We are lookkng forward to our next visit at the shack 😀

What a beautiful spot. I would not be able to come up with a complaint if I tried….okay maybe the black flies but that’s expected when you have a beautiful place surrounded in nature. Black fly season is soon ending anyway. The lake and sauna were wonderful and the fresh pretzels were so delicious! I know there was a previous comment about the dirt road being hard to navigate due to pot holes. That is no longer an issue as I have a small hatchback and got in just fine. I would certainly come back again. Tracy and Durwin

we absolutely loved staying at the Salmonwood Cottage. It was such a cozy feel with the lake surrounding the backyard. We loved every second of our stay, and wish we could have stayed longer
