Our family of three had a lovely time. The home was very clean, comfortable and well located near two of our favorite beaches. It was private but we didn’t feel isolated. Absolutely loved the architecture and lounge areas. Great kitchen, bathrooms and amenities. Claire was very responsive and always accessible. Highly recommend!

This place was pristine! Whoever designed this home had excellent attention to detail. The landscape has grown in nicely since the pictures were taken so the property was even more beautiful than expected. With no adjacent rear neighbor, the trees, foliage and wildlife behind the home are beautiful. In fact, there is only one home adjacent to the property but and it's separated by a pretty good privacy fence. Loved the small surf town of Playa Grande as well!

Wow! This place was amazing for our family’s stay in Costa Rica. The pool was a huge hit and we frequently came back mid day to refresh and then go get some dinner. The big double opening doors were awesome in the mornings to let in the sounds of the surrounding wildlife. One of our last nights we went to El Beach Club in playa grande and had an awesome meal. Definitely worth checking out if you stay here! Our kids loved the 2 Cats that seem to frequent the property and were super cute and pleasant. All in all don’t hesitate to stay here if you are looking at this area. It’s a bit of a drive to Tamarindo, but it is really nice at the end of the day to come back to the peace that this offers. We loved it! Great place and amazing hosts!

Casa Emma is a peaceful retreat. Walking distance to the beach, great restaurants, and the market. The house is clean and well stocked with all you need. The large covered porch had a pool table, large couch, big screen TV, and grill complete with a private pool for family and friends to gather. Enjoyed my stay and would stay here again!

Ample parking, private security, excellent maintenance of the green areas, common areas and the apartment is all very new. Excellent attention from Michelle.

Everything you expect. Great home, great host. Very clean, nice pool. Excellent communication. Only the surf teacher that was recomended wasn’t that good but that’s not on the host in my opinion.

casa de la felicidad is a great and beautiful option to stay close to a lot of beaches, very close to playa minas which is one of my favorite beaches in Costa Rica and it has its own private small pool. the hosts are really proactive to let you know of any problem they face and respond quickly to solve them, we had an ant nest and they let us know before we reached the house and took the required measures to solve it. would def recommend the place.

Loved this condo! While we originally thought it was right on the beach, we thoroughly enjoyed how peaceful it ended up being a little bit away. We enjoyed the beach club right next to the property (small community pool, corn hole boards, ping pong, and sun loungers) and had it all to ourselves for the whole afternoon - which made it feel like our own personal oasis. We used the shuttle service a few times to go down to the beach and it worked seamlessly - it would have been ~15 minute walk. My son loved using the gym and said it was a great one! The condo had a washer and actual dryer which made it so nice to get our clothes washed before our 2nd half of trip! The back patio was amazing with comfortable furniture, we enjoyed coffee each morning and even BBQ’d one night on the grill. Host was very responsive! Would highly recommend this place!

We loved our stay at Villa Sashimi and hope to come back soon! We loved to be surrounded by nature yet very near to the beach, super markets and restaurants. The house is very comfortable and clean, and the property grounds are beautiful!

Awesome property with a spectacular view. Photos don’t do it justice. Preston was a great host who was very responsive and offered great insight to the area. We will definitely return again. The house and grounds exceeded everyone’s expectations. The villa is very large with plenty of room for 7 adults.

This property is as described and the hosts are friendly, responsive, and good resources. This is a truly unique setting for the area – beautifully landscaped and situated on a ridge with panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding hills. We spent more time than anticipated outside at the pool and gazebo watching the bird and monkey activities, especially during sunrises and sunsets. It’s off the beaten path, but an easy drive to many excellent beaches and the more touristy Tamarindo area. The house is designed and decorated exquisitely. Our only knock is that some of the appliances were not fully functioning, but we made do and that’s pura vida. If you like nature in all its forms and appreciate the ebbs and flow of the day, this is a great spot.

The place was stunning and super comfortable. Nothing bad to say regarding the host or the house. However, it's worth noting that the Águila Bar is located very close to the property. During our stay, the music was quite loud, and we noticed some concerning behavior from people at the bar, including drug use. While nothing bad happened, we didn’t feel entirely comfortable being outside the house or leaving our belongings unattended. To be clear, this is just my personal impression regarding the bar nearby—it had nothing to do with the host or the house itself. As a mention the house was beautiful!

Sebastian was one of the best hosts we could ever have! Coming to a country I have never been before he made us feel so welcomed and safe. He knew it was our honeymoon and provided us a gift and daily service of cleaning the pool the climate was absolutely beautiful and we are so happy with our trip, the pool was so beautiful in the day and night, overall everything was a 10/10 experience! the modern feel of this airbnb felt fresh and comfortable. outside there is a large balcony where i loved to sit with my coffee, read, do yoga or meditate in peace, listening to the nature sounds around me and the water fountain while also gazing at the gorgeous trees. on my last morning i floated in the refreshing pool and watched monkeys playing in the trees overhead. the caretaker of the property was very sweet and friendly. i’m back home now but im missing the tree top balcony and vibes already. close to a few restaurants, a market and nice coffee shop. awesome large shower. thanks for the lovely stay!

Super central with many beaches and supermarkets, the rooms are super comfortable, with everything you need, I loved it because they accept pets, we will definitely go back ❤️

Esteban was a great host from the beginning. Excellent and fast communication always. Instructions from A-Z were easy to follow. It’s a great place to stay for an extended time. Nice mix of locals and tourists and friendly staff. Felt very safe here as it was gated and with a security guard. Enjoyed the warm cross breeze between the 2 balconies. Great location to visit a variety of beaches. As others said, you need transportation. Was able to work remotely and count on the wifi. Missing it already and could recommend staying there to anyone.
