The house, carefully equipped as a family home, exceeded expectations: impeccable cleaning, efficient heating in winter and a traditional, simple and tasteful decor. It offers the essentials with excellence, including in the package, typical village security and an authentic charm, away from the standard of mass tourism. Parking is on the street but it is easy and certain, as is the confidence of the host by providing utensils and towels at will — a gesture that deserves reciprocal respect. However, I had an initial difficulty: the address was not located by Google Maps/Waze, as it is in a rural village. I contacted the host who was promptly solicitous and everything resolved. Despite this small logistical challenge, the experience was perfect. For those seeking a cost-effective connection of simplicity, values respect for space and details, as well as seeking an authentic and welcoming experience, I recommend without hesitation! Charming cottage, very nice living area with fireplace. It has all kinds of necessary items. Nearby are some hiking trails. For making the faucets of the showers that are mixers, not single doorknob and that in the middle of winter the house may be cold.

ninho do melro es un casa rural prepared for family use. We thank and value that it does not have the impersonal decoration of all the airbnb apartments. The wood home works perfect, good firewood and tools are supplied to light it. The rooms have electric heaters that soon leave them in a good temperature to sleep. Also the mattresses, blankets and pillows are comfortable and sufficient. The welcome is warm and friendly with good directions to get to know the area. We forgot some electronic gadgets in the house and they offered to send them to us for free at home. Bragança is beautiful and interesting. We'll be back!

One of the best experiences I've had with AirBnB. Very interesting house, rustic but with the necessary amenities. Cozy, clean spaces. The reception by D. Cândida, already with the fireplaces lit and a beautiful homemade bread, made it worth the trip. The decor of the house still has a few very interesting traditional items. The only difficulty we had was having a mobile connection (either by wifi or mobile data), but it resulted in this difficulty being a good ingredient in the stay, as no one even picked it up on the phone and forced the greatest coexistence. Recommended stay, while thanking Joana for her good hospitality.

A great house in a beautiful natural place. 100% privacy. Close to the beautiful river Douro and National Park. Do visit the cities of Miranda and Braganza if you have the time.

The house is ideal for nature lovers! It is very cool inside and has all the necessary equipment for a comfortable stay. The river below is perfect for cooling off and other spots are within walking or driving distance by the road that passes in front of the house (little traffic, mainly farmers and locals who are very warm). We would have stayed much longer!

amazing place! very quiet and big house with a great view and very nice garden. house is very well equiped, except it doesnt have an aircon, and the garden screams of a swimming pool, which would dramatically improve the place.

Really beautiful space in nature with great appartments, a camping lot, pool and everything you need!

I spent 3 nights in this accommodation, renting the entire house with family and friends. The stay was great. But the best part was the attention of the hosts of the house, Ana Carina and Marcelo, who were always available for anything we might need. They were very kind when we arrived and left. We will definitely be back next summer. We're all looking forward to coming back. 100% Recommended See you next time Ana Carina and Marcelo!! Thank you for everything!!

Great place to stay. As many have mentioned, these cabins are within a campground but they're clean, warm and comfortable with great views. Fully equipped. A heads up however, is that there is not actually a washer available. They have a laundry service which is 20EU for 9kg, washed and dried, but only available on weekdays. We ended up driving into town to the nearest laundromat and were done in a couple of hours including driving. The on-site restaurant is great quality and good value.

I highly recommend Rita's house. Comfortable house, very clean, peaceful, very quiet and very well equipped. We received a very good welcome on our arrival.
