Cottage vacation rentals in Braeside

We had a guys weekend here and it was perfect. We ended up cooking feasts and their set up for cookware is the best I've seen by far; they've got it all. The rooms were comfortable, bathroom is nice and large, and the property itself is very well set up.

Chouette chalet très bien situé pour aller profiter de la montagne. Les escaliers vers le lac étaient dégagés ce qui était agréable. Les chalet n’a pas de lave vaisselle mais la disposition de la cuisine permet de faire la vaisselle facilement

Kim & Scott’s Honey Bear Cottage is a beautiful, peaceful escape surrounded by nature. The setting is incredibly serene, yet there’s lots to do both at the cottage and nearby. The space was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Kim & Scott were fantastic hosts—friendly, responsive, and made everything feel easy. It was the perfect spot for a getaway and we had an amazing time. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

the cottage was so beautiful, very well equipped & a real gem of a stay. we enjoyed the beach & the outdoor sitting areas...so relaxing. the beds were so comfortable, we all had peaceful sleeps...our family truly needed this stay. thank you so much, a lovely place.

The cottage was exactly as pictured. Many different things to do at this location - from taking out the canoe to staying inside and playing games. Used this location for a family barbeque and everyone had a spot to sit and eat.

It was beautiful! Very nice neighbor to the left, very nice inside. It’s not a big deal, could of been the guest before but the hottub had smoke dust, maybe the guest before smoked in it

I spent a weekend at Talia's place with my dogs to get away while my husband was on a work trip. The cottage is extremely clean and comfortable, very spacious with wonderful outdoor and water access and amenities. Although it was just me and my dogs, I could picture having a blast with friends and family, as there were many games and activity options in and around the house. Will go back for sure!

This cottage was perfectly curated for a family/friend’s getaway! Their home was spacious, and well equipped from the kitchen to the fire outside. If you didn’t have a plan for the weekend, they have a detailed booklet on everything near by. I really appreciated them giving us the heads up on the northern lights, and providing 2 Bon Echo Park passes to the guests! The communication was fast, and the location was perfect. There’s nothing more I could even ask for.

I couldn't be more thankful to Sean for opening up this gorgeous cabin/house for us on the most amazing river. The house is immaculate, trust me I'm an airforce brat! The Sofa and chairs invited you ti relax as long as you want in deep comfort, and the lovely extra blankets and cushions are just wonderful. At night, the firepit and the comfy chairs kept us all smiling. The screened tent is fantastic for sitting right beside the river. The stones at the water's edge are flat and smooth mostly, great for getting your feet wet. And the best part of all, the wonderful sound of the river, which you can hear from the front door. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the wildlife. Ducks, Robin's, yellow finches, hummingbirds, and more. The chipmunks are adorable as well. MY friends and I were sincerely impressed and had an amazing stay.

It was a peaceful and relaxing escape! Just what we needed!

We had a great time at Brenda’s space on the lake. Being able to look out over the lake was a great way to wake up. Brenda was responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

We had an amazing stay at Scott’s cottage! The property is beautiful and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Scott was a fantastic host: proactive, friendly, and took the time to walk us around and make us feel right at home. The cottage itself was incredibly cozy and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The house is absolutey stunning. We all loved both the indoor and outdoor space. We loved all being able to be together and the space was really made for gatherings so if you are looking for that then look no further. Additionally, we loved the small touches like the pictures of how the house was built! The glass walls really make it a one of a kind experience. Aaron, the host, was great to communicate with! Only suggestion if you read this is to bring your bug spray!

Beautiful family stay! We brought two toddlers who loved hanging out on the dock, hanging out on the swing and eating on the picnic table on nice days. The DVD collection was awesome as well! No issue with hot spotting for anything else. One thing to note is the (gorgeous) glass table and winding staircase require a bit of extra supervision with young ones. Total paradise for young families or small groups :)

Dayna and David are INCREDIBLE hosts. They took care of every detail and looked after us when we were effectively snowed in. Their home is creative, beautiful, peaceful, spacious. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The whole neighbourhood is gorgeous and talk about lovely people! We want to come back in the summer. And the sauna! Let me tell you, in the winter, this was the sweetest treat. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience and how we were treated - like close friends. They get my highest recommendation.

What a great place for family time! The interior design is warm, inviting, and full of hygge — every nook feels thoughtfully curated for comfort and coziness. There are so many different spaces to enjoy, whether you're curled up with a book indoors or out exploring. Our family loved the kayaks and the outdoor space just as much as the peaceful, beautifully designed interiors. A perfect mix of relaxation and adventure! Thank you to the hosts !

Stéphane est un hôte incroyable. Compréhensible, gentil, à disposition de nos besoins je n’ai rien à redire. Même avec une situation un peu compliqué il a su être à notre écoute et nous avons trouvé un arrangement avec lui hyper rapidement. Je suis agréablement satisfaite de son service.Ceci est un logement que je vais réserver pour d’autre occasions!
