One of the best things about this place is the location. It’s just a 14-minute walk to the supermarket, restaurants, and 3 mins walks to public transport, which made everything so convenient. A pure delight. The little cabin was exactly what we needed to break our trip from Lightning Ridge to Lake Macquarie. It was adorable. Nice and cosy and Janet had put the heat on for us so when we came out of the cold we could warm right up. The place was tidy, warm, clean and totally inviting. Not too far out of town to buy some takeaway chinese, but far enough to be away from the street lights and noise. Highly recommended.

Great little place to stay. Very cozy and was perfect for our short stay in winter. Lisa was great to deal with and very lovely. Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to check out the surrounding area, however, the instructions were very thorough to find the place. Would recommend,

Matthew’s home was easy to access with directions received. Home was cosy & clean . Only thing we were a bit confused about when we arrived was the beds weren’t actually in rooms however wasn’t really an issue , we enjoyed our time looking after Matthew’s air bnb for a short stay . Highly recommended to others .

Absolutely loved it! This fantastic little rustic cabin is a true home away from home; George has done a wonderful job creating a warm, welcoming space. It’s the only “dog-friendly” place I’ve stayed that genuinely lives up to the name. While it’s not fenced, the location is safely tucked away from any roads, so my dogs were free to roam and explore without worry. I felt totally at ease, and it was such a joy to find a beautiful spot that both my dogs and I could enjoy. The space was exactly what us city slickers needed; charming, unique, and full of character. George was so welcoming and nothing was a bother - I would definitely stay here again! Thank you George!
