MacLeod Cove is a 3-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. It typically has good cell phone coverage and we have wifi. Raspberry Cottage has a 17th century Scandinavian log style with a newly renovated interior, library, free berry and orchard picking, and a hiking path on 150 acres. Proximity to puffin tours, fishing, golf, the Cabot Trail, the Nfld ferry, cultural experiences, and on the way to PEI. Wifi, tv, coffee beans, tea, charcoal and propane grills, and logs for an outdoor fire circle are included. 4 star rated by Canada Select. The Hummingbird Pod is a pet-friendly sleeping pod with a double bed and small pull out for 2 kids or 1 adult. This cabin is a 5-7 minute walk from the main parking lot, up-hill - which is why is has some of the best views! The Cookhouse is very closeby with Wi-Fi, basic staples like coffee & tea, everything you need to cook and store your food, and board games. The Washhouse is also closeby, with heated eco-friendly bathrooms and showers. Free access to wood-fired sauna and snowshoes!

Cabot Trail Wilderness Cabin | The Canopy

The Canopy is the 2nd largest of the 3 wilderness cabins, and closest to the washrooms, nestled among the forest which leads down to the waterfront. All the cabins sleep two people, with a personal fire pit, bbq, kitchenette, drinking water (although no running water), and all the amenities needed to spend a few nights in nature. The shared outdoor bathroom has been hand crafted with lots of natural light, a composting toilet (i.e. non-flushing), hot water shower and two sinks.

Artist’s Eco Cabin - The Nest

The Nest is privately located overlooking our farm & highlands. It's rustic & glamorous with small touches that make it unique. The Nest sleeps four (second bed is a double futon) & has full cooking & washroom facilities. It's equipped with a wood stove, fridge, BBQ, & solar lights.
